WASHINGTON -- Top White House science officials defended the validity of global warming research against repeated Republican attacks Wednesday that cited leaked e-mails from some climate researchers.
The e-mails from a British university's climate center, were obtained by computer hackers and released last month. Climate change skeptics contend the messages reveal that researchers manipulated and suppressed data and stifled dissent.
In the first Capitol Hill airing of the issue, House Republicans read excerpts from at least eight of the e-mails, saying they showed the world needs to re-examine experts' claims that the science is settled. One e-mail from 2003 was by John Holdren, then of Harvard University and now the president's science adviser.

The new doomsday buzzwords are “OCEAN ACIDIFICATION” caused by increased levels of CO2.
Follow the money.....I would bet there are a lot of folks that are trying to get their money out of companies or syndicates that have a major finacial interest in the outcome of this climate change fraud. Right now Obama and his henchmen are providing a good deal of cover to his puppetmasters so they to can divest themselves before the obvious happens. Gibbs is not a good enough liar to be effective for much longer. I wonder which owners of the MSM are big financial players in this game.
Quite simply, John Holdren is a crank. Is now, has been for years, and always will be. He is the poster boy for the Obama adminstration.

BS. The ocean is full of algae. Any increase in CO2 will result in more algae growth, which results in more O2 output and stores more carbon in algae and plankton, which feeds more fish.

Well we know NBC is with GE. Goldman Sacs is another big player. This might even be GS undoing. Al Gore is going down. ‘Global warming’ will be considered ‘too big to fail’...whether it’s a load of commie crap or not.
Try the biggest of all, General Electric, and its chairman, Jeffrey Imelt, which, together, have just about bet the entire company on the whole AGW fraud. NBC is a subsidiary of GE.
The “consensus” thing is a lie and they know it. There are tens of thousands of scientists who DISAGREE. It’s like taking a poll on Obama’s popularity at the Washington DC CNN news room and declaring that 100% of America supports him.
