The more we learn about the purloined e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit the more it resembles Watergate. As was the case in 1974, there will be no one particular spectacular revelation, but rather an unremitting and unrelenting daily drip-drip that ultimately brings down the house.
The latest gem comes from none other than Rajendra Pauchari, the climatologically untrained head of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Without the IPCC there would be no cap-and-tax legislation awaiting debate in the Senate. There would be no meeting in Copenhagen, where, next month, world leaders will attempt to globalize cap-and-tax. There would also be no pledge from President Obama to emissions reductions that have never been passed by the Senate.
The e-mails have given Pauchari the onerous task of defending the IPCC from its own "scientific" leadership, now accused (or, perhaps, incriminating itself) of seriously manipulating the scientific literature that goes into the august IPCC scientific reports.
In one of the e-mails, Penn State's Michael Mann, long a power player in the production of these reports, said this about some scientific articles he did not like: "I can't see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin and I will keep them out somehow -- even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!"

These climate “scientists” attempted to do an end run around the scientific method, an in particular, the requirements of documentation and sharing of all data and methodology, making it all available for scrutiny by other scientists, and allowing other researchers the verify results by reproducing them. Verifiable results are at the core of the scientific method. They betrayed science in the name of their climate-change religion.
They’re liars or worse...
Rajendra shared the Peace Prize with Gore. So they each got about a half a mil...It almost sounds like.....a conspiracy!!! Imagine that!!
One thing most scientist know and fear: if today someone else’s paper or grant proposal gets abused in the peer review process for publications or grants, tommorow it is likely to be yours. Integrity in peer review is absolutey essential as is declaration of conflict of interest and responsible action. These jack..... climate research guys failed on all counts.
This sends shivers down most research scientists’ spines.
Lysenkoism was a Communist/socialist bizarre perversion of biological genetics which was the only biology "science" allowed in the Soviet Union from 1930 to 1964. Al Gore would have been proud, since opponents to the official Marxist-friendly mass delusion were sent off to die in gulag concentration camps.
Charlatans Gore and Lysenko:
Even honest scientists in the West who questioned Lysenkoism were denounced by the socialists:
I don’t know if you have seen this video regarding AGW . It is excellent

Yes, they are liars, and as scientists, they are without honor.
I don’t think the term “peer reviewed” will ever tell me anything useful about something published by a scientist again.
My father-in-law, a chemical engineer, once said that Chemists are scientists, physicists- well some of them. All the rest who use the name are politicians and novelists.
LOL
“Peer review” — A conspiracy of collusion, which I’d suspected all along.
The irony of it all is that the criminal conspiracy by these so-called scientists was discovered as the result of their utter, breathtaking arrogance:
Their utter incompetence at statistics; they were so self-centered, that they thought it unnecessary to bring experts aboard who actually knew what they were doing.
And that will ultimately nail the coffins of their reputations and careers.
The emails reveal a truly embarrassing series of amateurish disdain for what they did not know. Statistical analysis found their scam; and statistical analysis will end their careers. It's just a matter of when.
