AP Exclusive: Obama Aunt Anguished by Separation THE ASSOCIATED PRESS December 1, 2009

BOSTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama's aunt buried her face in her hands and sobbed as she described her anguish over no longer having contact with him and his family after the revelation she had been living illegally for years in the United States in public housing.

Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUH'-nee awn-YAHN'-goh) told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview that she is troubled that her immigration woes have made her a political liability to her nephew.

Onyango, the half sister of Obama's late father, said she has exiled herself from the family after attending Obama's inauguration because she didn't want to become fodder for his foes. Obama and his family have not reached out to her either, she said.

''Before, we were family. But right now, there is a lot of politics, and me, I am not interested in any politics at all,'' said Onyango, whose appeal for asylum from her native Kenya is before an immigration judge in Boston.

The Obamas are her only family in the United States, she said.

''It is very sad when such a thing happens. There are people, outsiders, you know, they come in between, they divide a family,'' she said last week. ''It's not easy.''

Onyango, 57, is protective of Obama and said she never asked him to intervene in her case and didn't tell him about her immigration difficulties.

''I carry my own cross,'' she said. ''He has nothing to do with my problem.''

The White House said Obama has had no involvement in his aunt's case and believes it should run its ordinary course.

Onyango helped care for the president's half brothers and sister while living with Barack Obama Sr. in Kenya.

Note the total lack of curiosity by the AP and the NYT as to who is giving her the money to live here and to fight her deportation. If she were a Muslim convert to Christianity fighting a court case, they would be investigating who was financing her.

Does this story actually rate AP "exclusivity"? I know the associated press wets their collective pants at the mere mention of anything to do with the kenyan, but I could actually care less about his half-aunt.

Have you ever noticed at everything about obama is either half, or 'step". He has half-aunts, half-sisters, half-brothers, step-grandmothers...even obama himself is a half-assed excuse for a president.

According to his campaign in 2008, Obama hardly knew her:

[Obama] first met his father’s side of the family when he traveled to Africa 20 years ago. He referred to Onyango as “Auntie Zeituni” when describing the trip in his memoir, saying she was “a proud woman.”

Obama’s campaign said he had seen her a few times since that meeting, beginning with a return trip to Kenya with his future wife, Michelle, in 1992. Onyango visited the family in Chicago on a tourist visa at Obama’s invitation about nine years ago, the campaign said, stopping to visit friends on the East Coast before returning to Kenya.

She attended Obama’s swearing-in to the U.S. Senate in 2004, but campaign officials said Obama provided no assistance in getting her a tourist visa and doesn’t know the details of her stay. The campaign said he last heard from her about two years ago when she called saying she was in Boston, but he did not see her there.

Onyango's daughter -- seen here with OBOWZO -- is really pissed as well. A little known fact is that Barack Obama is a descendent of Kenyan royalty. In Arabic, his first name means "Destroyer of nations." Obama means "He who will forever rule the underworld -- not just in Chicago, the REAL one down there."

He is seen here in native Kenyan garb in a rare shot recently discovered in a White House burn bag that somehow escaped the newly installed White House diesel powered, water-cooled Acme 3000 Super Shredder. It was sent to us by a former White House shredder tender (who wished to remain anonymous -- and hasn't been heard from for over 2 months!).

And if you are offended by this photo, TOO BAD! Obama is, after all, a disciple of Saul Alinsky who advised his friends in Obama's favorite book, "Rules for Radicals" (subtitled "Dirty Tricks by The Left are Just Good Politics"), that RIDICULE is a potent and effective weapon.

Onyango reserved special words of kindness for former President George W. Bush for a directive he put in place days before the election requiring federal agents get high-level approval to arrest fugitive immigrants, which directly affected Onyango. The directive made clear that U.S. officials worried about possible election implications of arresting Onyango.

Not content to meddle in the Onyango case, the GWB administration issued a blanket directive to impede all arrests of fugitive illegals. How many criminals slipped through the cracks during those days?

Don’t know where she’s currently living, but the photo of her I saw today, it would appear her income has gone waay waay up....gold around her neck several times, gold earrings perfectly matched to outfit, gold on her fingers, very nice outfit......didn’t appear that way before the election....
