I have stop using the ridiculously dishonest ultra-liberal Snopes.
Always thought Snopes was a great place to visit for a laugh, never to take seriously.

Snopes has never been reliable or accurate.
snopes is good for your laugh but bad for the naive/ignorant who believe those ‘gospel-truth’ libs.
i have friends who always respond to one another when something questionable comes up, ‘check with snopes.’
i just flip out when i hear that.

Yea, when I checked on Barbara Wise, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown’s direct report who was found murdered and half naked in her office right after Thanksgiving back then (probably 1993), Snopes said (to the effect) “nothing to it”, as if it happens all of the time. The Washington Post had a single story on it...but otherwise didn’t find it very interesting.
I’ll still use them to check some non-political stuff, but for political stuff, it’s obvious who they play ball with.
