It has been described as the "greatest scientific scandal of modern age." The story broke last Thursday when a person unknown -- some say it was a hacker, others an inside-leak job -- broke into the servers at Britain's Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and published at least 61megabytes of confidential data on a Russian website.
Despite efforts in liberal quarters to play the story down as a criminal issue of no great consequence, the blogosophere almost instantly recognized it as political dynamite: perhaps even the final nail in the coffin of Al Gore's increasingly expensive theory that the world is rapidly overheating due to Anthropogenic Global Warming .
Why? Because the Climate Research Unit in the windswept fenlands of Eastern England -- together with its sister unit in the West of England, the Hadley Centre in Exeter, Devon -- is one of the primary information sources used by the UN's International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
Not only have its resident scientists, computer modelers and statisticians been heavily involved in drafting the IPCC's three reports; but its global temperature records are one of the IPCC's four official sources of data.
If the CRU's data and scientific staff were shown to be unreliable, it would call into question the very basis of the IPCC's doom-laden predictions of rising sea levels and inexorably-rising temperatures due to man-made CO2.
And to judge by the leaked data - over a decade's worth of documents and emails -- "unreliable" may be a rather polite way of putting it. As Australian blogger Andrew Bolt puts it, the CRU may well be guilty of "conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organized resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims

Al Gore was at the vanguard of this fraud. I would love to see that bastard in jail.
In a more enlightened age, this sort of thing was handled quickly and with little regard for the ‘feelings’ of the perpetrators.

Obama gave a speech today about curbing emissions and getting ready for Copenhagen compliance, like nothing happened.
So we have had over 3000 scientists trying to tell these politicians and this administration that the UN climate study was filled with errors.
How did they handle it? Instead of inviting them to take part in a discussion at the hearing, they did not allow any disenting voices. instead they said the time for debate is over, it has been proven that man made global warming exists. At the same time they were threatening government employees not to release information proved the opposite. They were aware of this bad data or they would not have helped the scientists hide the findings and the problems with the computer model.
Instead they listened to the likes of Al Gore
who fed propaganda to a New York Times reporter a few days before he was to testify so he could quote the New York Times story as if it were gospel, and the New York Times was quoting the scientists who are probably guilty of”conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organized resistance to disclosure and manipulation of data.”
Follow the money and power - there you will find a group of very rich people and dumb Democrats that have waited 20 years for this hoax to allow them to strip us of our freedoms and tax us for a mythical problem that will happen. All so they can can have power and transfer the wealth to a small elitist group of corrupt people.

Because the Marxist sob is doing what he’s been instructed to do, to bring about the global compact. The carbon credits scam was to be/is to be the central method for ruling the nations from a central banking authority! The bank and boards of examiners already exist and even define themselves as the arbiters of carbon credits for exchange world-wide! The poor British have already been sucked into taxation on carbon. The system is already too big to be set aside over the fraud so the fraud will continue and the truth will be squelched and pissed upon until the bastards are either shot or worshipped.

Barry Obama aligned himself with ACORN and SEIU because they could do the fraud he needed to rise to such power. Sadly, too many black people have once again been herded into service to the reat deceiver, the father of lies strutting around just behind the shadow of the affirmative action fraud-in-chief.
I can barely wait for the movie.
