But he's not "us." I won't go so far as to say that "he's 'them'," because that always degenerates into a discussion of who "them" really are, but Simpson did a nice job of helping clear up the identification.

Yep. That's who our enemy is. Now, what do we do about it?

Yep. Those are the marching orders, people. Like it or not, we are at war within our own borders, and the war is not just going to stop on its own. That means that the front is moral - first, and foremost - but that the moral must drive the political. "...[O]nly moral criteria can help the West against communism's well planned world strategy. It's not a game. This isn't a friendly football field, and it isn't a matter of being "fair" for the other team or that they "should" win one once in a while. History is full of examples of what happens when those who currently control this country "win one once in a while." That's why that old saying is an old saying: Eternal vigilence is the price of liberty.
Or, as another old guy put it once:

Excellent point. I spend a lot of time comparing myself to the great founders. I’m sure others here do the same. It is humbling. One likes to think “I’d have been like that” if I had lived then. I would be like Adams, or Paul Revere, or Jefferson. But the truth is even then many were called but few answered, and only a small fraction with the power, clarity and leadership of our founders.
Without those qualities we have a movement without leaders. That’s not going to get the job done. Time to man up, (he says to self). It’s harder than it seems, isn’t it.
Well, I’m getting laid off after the first of the year, so I will have lots of time to “agitate” but no money to donate.
Seems like a CWII ping might be in order. Someone else quoted this last week, from a Bob Dylan song: “Let us not talk falsly now, the hours getting late”.

If there is any bloodshed, this situation will become exponentially worse — with no gaurantee they will ever get any better. Prepare for any contingency — but prefer peace and politics...
That’s absolutely right - nobody ever “wants” a war, but sometimes, all other choices are eliminated, and we have one whether we “want” it or not to avoid worse consequences.

I’ve never been recorded giving it, as far as I know. Perhaps the next time I have a chance to trot it out in public, I’ll have someone record it. Come to think of it, I could just record it and post it on YouTube. Hmmmm. Now there’s an interesting Christmas season project.
Meanwhile, do what you can to promote, copy, point to and distribute it everywhere you can.
As a side note, I’ve gotten hate mail accusing me of making ‘racist’ statements in that speech. LOL!
