Believe it or not, hes not just spinning here. Hes sincerely criticizing Obama for some of his dopier decisions lately; he just cant help letting his admiration for The One get in the way and filter it as a matter of excess virtue. None of the problems he cites are necessarily or actually the product of too much deep thinkin. Obamas bow to Akihito was, in fact, stupid since it had the opposite intended effect. His deliberations on Afghanistan are fine, but should have been conducted six months ago given McChrystals warning that the war would be lost within a year. The KSM decision is dumb not only because itll give archterrorists a media platform (as Matthews himself acknowledges) but because its completely incoherent from the standpoint of due process. Obamas problem isnt that hes too thoughtful, in other words; thoughtfulness is all to the good. Its that hes indecisive, slow to move on public priorities that dont coincide with his agenda, and too eager to be liked abroad. A self-critical intellectual could correct all of that. How bout it, champ?

Ping.
Or is Chris Matthews just too darned STUPID?
I'll bow to that!!!
Matthews is an idiot.
Obama is a failure as a president. It’s a long way from being a community organizer.
Chris Matthews: Is Obama just too darned ineffectual ?
There, I fixed it.
“The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.”
- Ronald Reagan.
And that one held up the line.
FAIL!
Intellectuals would release their transcripts from college!
First, there is denial.
Second, there is pain.
Third, there is anger.
Fourth, there is depression.
Fifth, there is reconstruction.
Sixth, there is acceptance.
Both!
The President is book-centric ... Das Kapital. As well as self-centric.
Matthews is blind as a bat and his radars is off. Oh and self-centric.
Self-centric - that’s why they get along so well and why they can be at odds with each other. Any idea which ‘cat’ will win this fight?
I don’t know what I will do when Mathews comes out and calls zero a...ah...zero!
Visions of Jimmah Carter. Chrissy was just saying the same thing about Jimmah a few weeks ago.
Chrissy probably thinks Al Gore, and his million degree temps 2 miles below our feet, is too intellectual as well.
A faux “intellectual” is no substitute for documentation.
WHERE IS HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
Hey, maybe that would make a good campaign slogan AGAINST him in 2012:
“obama - just too darned SMART to be a decent president!”
I think that was Bush’s..., yeah that was George Bush’s problem... too intellectual for those at MSNBC... that’s obviously why they didn’t understand him.
“Indecisive”? That’s mild. He hasn’t made one proposal of legislation since taking office. He has delegated that to Congress which can’t get anything right. This is the same guy who never took a stance on any key legislation when in the Illinois Senate (He voted “Present” most of the time). How would you like to have this guy as your Commander in Combat? I think that equals “Dead”.
