CNN International ^ | November 19, 2009

Disabled Iraq veteran, Luis Montalvan, says that he was repeatedly discriminated against at a Brooklyn McDonald's. According to Montalvan, these conflicts culminated in an assault that sent him to the emergency room.

Now, Montalvan is suing McDonald's for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act, discrimination, and assault and battery.

It's CNN International, but it's in my backyard. I recognize some of the scenes in the video, although I didn't know there was a McDonald's at that location. I don't travel Fifth Avenue because the traffic is impossible.

“Winter Soldier Day 4: Corporate Pillaging and Military Contractors Part One” http://www.freespeech.org/video/winter-soldier-day-4-corporate-pillaging-military-contractors-part-one The leftist media and their Dem cohorts use wounded vets to push their agendas. This guy is of questionable character, IMO.

Here, he is testifying before Congress: “Iraq Veterans Describe Atrocities to Lawmakers ... Former U.S. Army Capt. Luis Carlos Montalvan served directly under Gen. David Petraeus in 2005 and 2006.

“We have beaten our drum to try to raise the issue of the dereliction of duty committed by a number of generals who have been promoted and promoted again and continue to perpetuate the lies [that] paint a rosy picture of the situation in Iraq,” he said.

Montalvan said he personally witnessed U.S. military personnel carrying out waterboarding, the mock-drowning interrogation technique that has long been considered torture by U.S. courts.” http://www.antiwar.com/glantz/?articleid=12855 He is also mentioned by Franken as the impetus for his guide-dog bill (they met at O’s inauguration) and is a Huffington Post columnist.

It is NOT CNN of any sort. The report is a non vetted individiual report (ireport) kind of like a you tube piece. This doesn’t even pass the giggle test

The guy is milking the system for all that he can. I would question this slacker’s cpmbat wounds

"I would question this slacker’s cpmbat wounds"

You would question his loss of a leg in an ambush? Did you see the chest full of ribbons in the still photo at the end of the segment?

His own description of his wounds was “ he suffered a concussion and leg wounds”

No where does it say he lost his leg. And a chest full of ribbons fr a captain in a time of war means nothing. Ribbons mean nothing to me. Note that the good doctor managed to get ribbons as wekk and he was state side and never saw combat

I even googled this guy. No where does it say he lost his leg. Please don ‘t attribute to those who have not done.

THis guy may have seen even less combat than John F Kerry ( reporting for duty).

You are correct... I just listened to the report again and it said wounds to his leg and spine. My bad. Nevertheless, his dog is allowed by Federal law into the store and he has a case. If it was staged, I doubt the police would have been called.

Does he have as many as that wounded war veteran, John Kerry?

Look the store was closed and abandoned when these so called thugs attacked him. They were not McDonald’s workers. He was quick to video tape these folks ‘attacking’ him ( not at all clear from the video). AND why is it he was quick to video tape and yet has no shots of McDonald’s.

This guy does not pass the giggle test. He dishonors all in uniform and all who have REALLY been wounded. From the web I found an article where he claims that early in the war in Iraq he was on the Syrian border with his troops. Well there were few and far between out there and there was little to no fighting in that area. I just think the guy looks too much like John F “I am a veteran” Kerry. I believe NOTHING of what he says
