MEIJER PREPARES FOR CROWD AT PALIN BOOK SIGNING

FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- A Meijer's Department Store in Northeast Fort Wayne is preparing for what could be an onslaught of customers looking for a chance to meet a big star in the world of politics.

Sarah Palin didn't get elected Vice-President, but she figures to be a huge hit at an event here in town on Thursday. Palin will only be in the city a short time to sign copies of her new book, but the possibility of getting to meet her up close and personal is expected to draw supporters like a magnet.

The Meijer at Interstate 469 and State Road 37 will host the former Alaska Governor between noon and three p-m Thursday, as Palin is trying to spur sales of her new book entitled, "Going Rogue". The first thousand qualifying customers in line for a wristband earn the chance to have up to two copies of the book signed by John McCain's running mate in the last presidential election. Meijer anticipates a big overflow crowd.

Pat Mead/Meijer Manager: " It'll actually create some excitement, obviously, having somebody come in to do a book signing and I think there is a very large interest in the community to see her, so I think it'll be good for the community."

Martha Barrow/Palin Fan: " I like her, I think she's a down to earth person, just a family person and I think she can do just as good a job as the men do, maybe better."

That is awesome! I wish I could get a signed copy, but that will have to wait for now. I’m hoping they will still be available in Jan/Feb.

As I posted previously, THESE are the kind of "wide angle" photographs -- from the book-signing in Grand Rapids...
...that we need to get from each of Governor Palin's book tour stops...
....to PROVE the large numbers of supporters that she is attracting.

That’s about a mile from where I lived when I went to HS (decades ago). The area sure has changed, judging from googlemaps, etc.

They all look like they are having a ball. There is a stark difference between conservative gatherings and leftist loons.

“There is a stark difference between conservative gatherings and leftist loons.”

Loons don’t know what they should do until their organizer arrives.

They should have left “Comp” out of the title.

The loons always look PO’d and insane, even when their leader is there.

Wow!

The oil and insurance companies must be making a KILLING, capitalist pigs that they are, to hire all those shills to attend her book signings.

I mean, just study the crowd! Obviously they’re corporate goons.

All kidding aside, I don’t really think the ‘Rats appreciate the tsunami of ordinary decent American wrath that Bambi and his minions have unleashed.

“Going Rouge” would make a great selection for book club meetings. Interesting meetings, that is.
