Barone: Obama bows, but the world refuses to bow back
Washington Examiner ^ | November 18, 2009 | Barone

On his 10-day trip to Asia and in his 10th month in office, Barack Obama is beginning to encounter limits on his ambition to change the world. Even as he bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia last April and to the emperor of Japan last week, the world refuses to bow back.

This is not how it was supposed to be. "I am absolutely certain that generations from now," he said on the night he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in June 2008, "we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last best hope on Earth."

Hyeah, right. Bend over, Bambi, you naive fool, and brace yourself for what you’ve got coming from “the world”.

Oh, nevermind, I see you already ARE bending over for them.

Actually POTUS Obama is making things drastically worse for the United States job market and the failing economy. Both the Communist PRC (People’s Republic of China) and the Socialist state of India are ascending into world leadership on the backs of free enterprise, expansive job growth, growing consumers, and private businesses across the board. We, the USA are going the other way. I can also assure you that Indonesia and Malaysia are not many years behind the PRC & India. The world has Obama’s number, they know he is weak in every area and has severly diminished the United States role and position as “the world leader”. problem is, in total, he has not a clue and is the supreme empty suit!!!! The PRC, Japan, etc. must be laughing at us as to how we could ever elect a lightweight like Obama to be the USA POTUS!!! If the situation wasn’t so serious, shucks, I’d be laughing too!!!

World-class chutzpah.

What next, water into wine?

Just wondering what TOTUS would do, if he knew the press and cameras were not there to capture his obsequious posture towards this guy, that he probably would not have invited to the white house for beer unless he dissed him in the news or something like that. With TOTUS, it’s all about show, and presentation, and nothing about substance and integrity. When is he going to see that the world see’s him as the Emperor with No Cloths?

Gosh, how I wished even Hilliary might have won. As ornery as she is, at least she has a spine. I never thought I would say that, but anyone is better than this marxist and menial oaf. Let us hope that he doesn’t push the USA into a WWIII that will probably end up in destroying our children’s future without as much as a blink... and to think we have to worry about al qaeda hurting us. Oops, did I say that out loud?

OK, so let me get this straight. After 4 years and 100k or so casualties at the hands of the Japanese, the US ALLOWED the Japs to keep their puppet emperor in exchange for us occupying their country. This numbnut then bows like a servant to the Emperor? Apparently being a “Constitutional scholar” requires no knowledge of history. This clown will set the Liberals back 25 years. I am glad he is President. People are waking up.

This is so unseemly. Doesn’t Obama have any handlers or protocol people with their heads screwed on straight? No other head of state bows to the Emperor of Japan. Lord McCartney had it right — no kowtowing to the Emperor!

A large trend among posters on the web is to have their own (derogatory) nickname for Obama. Everyone hoping that theirs would catch on and become what Slick Willie was to Clinton.

For a while, I used Mutt - from when Obama was discussing what kind of dog the family should get. “Might be a Mutt like me,” he said.

Anyway, here’s my new contribution, since he’s always bowing to leaders (with apologies to Euchre players throughout Indiana):

THE LEFT BOWER
