GM lost $1.2B after 1 time charges of $2.4B in repayed loans to the German federal government and lander government.

No Virgina Americans don’t want diesal cars.

Volt will sell in numbers that will meet or exceed expectations.

Yes,it won’t sell in middle America but GM does not expect it to in the next decade. It will sell were Prius sells.

After 40 miles the Volt runs on gas at about 50MPG .

Yes, cars were made 30 years ago that reached the Cruze's level of MPG but not with modern safety and emission standards. And not even close to current NVH standards. Noise Vibration and Harshness.

If GM goes down in will take the supplier network that feeds Ford as well as Chrysler with it. There goes the American auto industry.

GM is on the way back, Bitches.

I love America more than I hate Obama or bailouts.

Hoping GM fails is like hoping US troops die in Iraq because you don’t like the President.

Stupid.

Very stupid

Wrong. GM deserves to fail.

Then it’s assets can be purchassed and put back into production without GM’s bad managment or labor unions.

DIE GM!

Supporting GM supports the unions. Who do the unions support? The choices are easy. For now on I will vote and purchase on principle. To heck with the northern (unionized) U.S. auto industry. If not for Asian competition we would still be being fed cars that couldn’t go 100k miles.

Ford’s Fusion was named car of the year by Motor Trend. the 4-cylinder Fusion with a 6 speed auto gets an avg 27 mpg versus 25 mpg for a Camry and Accord. This is a big difference.

the plan at GM is for GM to pay back the govt with more taxpayer money. the whole thing is a scam. The plan is to make the UAW goons rich but it will fail.

Wrong.

Blowing up GM will result in foreign companies buying up the good parts of GM.

It will not result in a new stronger Auto Company.

Labor unions are facts of modern industrialized economies.

Unless you get the Pinkertons to kill union leaders and organizers that is a fact of life.

Show me where a major industrial company failed into traditonal bankruptcy and emerged to its former glory.

It does not happen.

GM is on the way back Bitches!

50 MPG charging and batteries and driving I find that hard to believe considering efficiencies of motor generator combos.

The Fusion Hybrid is a great car.

That is smaller than a Camry,Accord,or Malibu.

You can’t pay back the loans with another loan without getting new credit.

It is not happening.

And GM only owns 9.9% of GMAC directly and another 14% indirectly throuht a trust. So don’t bitch about new monies to GMAC being used to pay back GM’s debt becuase it is not.

Horse Hockey.

“GM is on the way back Bitches!”

Cut your Prozac pill in half, you are over dosed.

GM SUCKS! and I refuse to give them one cent until they go into receivership and are restructured. Many auto companies operate in the US without unions.

The engine is used as a generator not to drive the wheels of the Volt.

So it is charging the batteries to propel the car forward not to store energy for futre use.

Hard to believe? Isn’t GM engineering great? Ha ha ha.

GM is on the way back bitches!

I like Opel (GM Germany). They make good vehicles, their diesel technology is outstanding. They have a turbo diesel concept car that gets like 200 mpg.

The nice thing about the German auto workers is they are union but they are not scum and filth like UAW/ACORN stooges. The UAW can go to hell.

The other nice thing about Germans is they do not elect Muslims to run/destroy their country. They did elect an Austrian who that did that but that is another story.

Chrysler and GM are dead. Thank the UAW. The UAW’s next goal is to kill Ford. If they kill Ford - I will but a transplant that is made by non-union Americans like a BMW, Honda, Toyo, Hyundai or VW.

The UAW did this to themselves and screwed America twice by electing the Muslim.

And that is a very stupid statement. My friend, GM is not the only game in town. If they fail, they fail and the country will move on and new players will appear.

A lot of us hope GM fails because the whole rescue deal was corrupt and a result of extortion and back room deals raping the taxpayer at the expense of our system, something most of us want no part of.

The union movement needs to fail and a lot of us are cheerleading for that to happen for good reason which should be obvious.

My guess is it is Opel’s technology. The white collar and non union workers at GM worked like dogs to save the company. The UAW are scum.
