I don’t know about safer, but the subject has certainly gone away. Nobody is complaining about illegals at all even on Free Republic. It’s almost like the problem is not there anymore. Kinda weird. Apprehensions along the border are way down not because of anything DHS is doing but because the democrats have tanked the economy and even illegal aliens can’t find jobs.
