With the Lovefest going on at the W.H. and MSM over Nidal Hasan's victimization, I'd like to take this opportunity, in light of our recent celebration of Veteran's Day, to identify Hasan for what he truly is.
Nidal Hasan is a cowardly anti-American, anti-liberty, anti-women, anti-Lord, Sharia Law loving, card carrying "Slave to Allah" Jihadist, murderer, terrorist cell whom on Nov. 5 carried out what he had always intended to do, which is to say, in cowardly fashion, gunned down unsuspecting, unarmed servicemen in the name of Allah.
The fact that the terrorist was dispatched by a petite American woman law enforcement officer gives me a certain amount of satisfaction.
Hasan: Quack, Quack Quack
(Hasan Waddles around and eats bread and flaps wings)
Old Stream Media: Hey, look over there at that pretty Goose!
Us: That is a Duck you dumbasses!
Old Stream Media: Why must you teabagging idiots jump to conclusions, that is a Goose you fools!
Us: ...... What the hell are you smoking?????
Hasan: Quack, Quack Quack
(Hasan Waddles around and eats bread and flaps wings)
“Nothing to see here.” “Go back to your lives, citizens.”
This is at present a claim, not a fact.
It is entirely possible he was stopped by her partner, a large black male LEO.
The fact that a American female law enforcement officer engaged the terrorist, and may have been the individual to take him down brings me a certain amount of satisfaction.
It’s an undisputed fact that the female LEO stepped into the line of fire; fired her weapon at the terrorist; and, got shot several times herself. Regardless of how many of her bullets found their mark; she acted heroically. Her partner may be a hero too — there was plenty of heroism on display to go around. Why try to diminish what she did?
I do not diminish her heroism. I’ve commented on this several times in recent days, as you can see from my posts.
The heroism came from showing up and charging into battle to save others. Both of the cops were heroes. Which one fired the effective shots, which has yet to be really fully disclosed, is pretty much irrelevant. No doubt luck had as much to do with who scored as skill or courage.
However, it is pretty clear the media and many Americans, for a bunch of reasons, jumped right on the idea that it was the lady cop who brought him down. This may turn out to be a similar reaction to that which turned Jessica Lynch into some sort of Rambo.
Nothing against either Jessica or the lady cop, but lots of Americans LOVE the idea of a female doing these types of things. So they jump right on it whether it is accurate or not.
I agree with part of what you say. Jessica Lynch was clearly used for war propaganda purposes — she deserves a lot of credit for enlisting & serving; the rest of the story was manufactured. Ms. Lynch was captured & needed rescuing — hardly a Ms. Rambo storyline.
However, Police Sgt. Kimberly Munley was one of (if not “the”) rescuerer. She did step into the fray. She deserves full credit for this.
From what I’ve seen; the PC crowd, Democrat spinmeisters, and their MSM enablers want to diminish Sgt. Munley’s heroism. Why play into their hands?
“So they jump right on it whether it is accurate or not.”
To suggest that every post describing the female as a hero as inaccurate is a rather sweeping generalization.
In context, my posts addressed the multi-dimensional irony of this attack.
I do not say these reports are inaccurate.
I said they MAY be inaccurate.
Since we don’t yet have full information on who fired what shots, I reserve judgment on who shot the perp.
As stated, I won’t consider her any less a hero if she turns out to have not been able to hit the guy.
This little nugget was explored by the U.K. Telegraph shortly after the shooting when one of their reporters talked to Mark Todd, the partner of the downed female LEO. It seems his shots took down the good Major after Hasan had downed his partner.
Don't hold your breath for this to come out anytime soon.
I agree.
