No. The law provides for these kinds of circumstances in something known as the De Facto Officer doctrine. Owens was sworn in, and as such, his votes and any other official actions would stand as law.
:o(
I think you are wrong. I am not a lwayer...at all.. but I just read that it will fully nullify the actions of Owens and his nomination. Sadly..cannot remember where I rea that - sorry.
How can they swear him in if the race wasn’t certified?
Interesting, and easily referenced via Google. With all the chatter over whether Obama is eligible for his office I'm surprised I hadn't come across mention of this before. So if, by some incredible long shot, those who think Obama isn't eligible are legally proven right, everything he's done up until then stands.
Fear not, Hoffman winning means nothing because he is not the Democrat.
Such an event only counts if the electoral reversal goes to the Democrat.
The USA no longer does honest elections, being electorally a corrupt, 3rd World nation moving yet faster thus courtesy President “Chavez” Obama and the Neo-Fascist Party (formerly the “Democratic Party” but truth in advertising mandated the name change...and to be bipartisan, the Republican Party is now the “We Be Idiots” Party, in view it the lack of leadership and spine.
