A Tribute to our Veterans and Troops on Veterans Day!!!



I chose a patriotic theme for today's thread,because it is important to me that we never forget who kept us safe in the past and who is keeping us safe today.

Our Veterans fought for our freedom and our Troops today fight for that same freedom and keep us safe,just as our Veterans have.

We should thank our Veterans and Troops every day and show our support for what they do and have done,because they sacrifice everything for us.

Always remember that.......

It is the SOLDIER, not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the SOLDIER, not the courts
who has given us the right to keep and bear arms
It is the SOLDIER, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the SOLDIER, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the SOLDIER, not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the SOLDIER, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the SOLDIER, not the politician,
who has given us the right to vote.
It is the SOLDIER, who salutes the Flag,
and serves under the flag.

So join me in saying........
