I grew up a few miles from Pine Plains. Back in the 1960’s and 1970’s, many of the students and faculty carried a rifle and/or shotgun in their car or truck, particularly this time of the year when many of us went bird or deer hunting before and after school. Back then, a ‘gun incident” was missing a twelve point buck at 100 yards or less.

Please narrow down the location of Pine Plains. I always hate when the term Upstate NY used.
