It’s a legalism. Until convicted by a court of law, the press has to refer to him as the “alleged” or “suspected” killer. . . They do it when the shooters are killed at the scene too. There are no trials for dead people. They will always be "alleged" under that worldview.

No he won’t. Believe it or not, a stand alone suicide without a bigger cause somehow benefiting Allah is not acceptable in islam. This boy is a good little muslim, he’ll wait to get executed rather than commit suicide. Because the former will make him a martyr whereas the latter would not.

While his injuries may cause future health complications that can be quite expensive to care for, we may pay to keep him alive for decades in prison whereas under Obamacare someone who’d been shot BY this man may not qualify for lifetime care thanks to actuary tables.
