Ha, what an IDIOT - a perfect photo op - but no pictures. A bunch of wounded soldiers that aren’t able to get out of the camera shots. What a DUMMY, missing such a great opportunity.

(how today’s White House looks at W’s visit)

Even Clinton knows a good photo-op when he sees one...he is in hysterics about how out of touch Obama is.

Just for grins, I sent a heads up to Drudge. Be nice if he picked this up and rightfully exposed and embarrassed this administration for its inaction and lack of concern.

Re: “I keep seeing apologist comments on websites “It would be too much trouble in security for Obama to go...””

Security Issues? He is not there simply because he finds no supportable campaign issues to gear up his teleprompter. Also, I suspect, he doesn’t want to go there to receive a less than favorable reception, and he is unable to handle that, especially with the press following him.

If I were the president, I would have been on Air Force ONE and flown to the base to offer my support, especially since we are sending these soldiers overseas to fight for our country, and some, sadly won’t be returning.

I am disheartened to see a CIC with little care or real support for the same people that allow him to live and reside in our Nation’s Capitol and make the decisions that effect our American Soldiers life’s and families, as well. If he truly thinks it would be unsafe for him to travel to an American Military Base, what are we expected to have our American Soldiers think of Obama’s ability to make serious decisions regarding their employment in bonafide war zones... even GWB went to Iraq, and Obama won’t even visit an American Military Base for “security reasons?...”

Not believable. He just doesn’t desire the bad press that might follow his “campaign trip” to Texas.

GW shows the American people and the world what a national disgrace Hussein Zero is. I’m sure our military already know.

I cannot imagine the heartache flooding through the lives of our military and their families. And if President Bush can give even a moment of comfort I am all for it. Dear Heavenly Father (in Christ Holy Name) give the ultimate comfort to all the wounded literally and figuratively across this nation. That includes this killer, because he will have the ultimate accounting someday, as he has some ‘souls’ waiting for his return to his Maker, whenever that occurs.

I told Drudge it should be his TOP HEADLINE for the entire day, if not weekend. Will see what he does.

The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood's Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night.

Private! Something the President doesn't know about with his press sycophant entourage.

Private to President Obama is the 'SECRETS' he keeps from the American people about his real plans covering them with double-talk, sleight-of-hand and reinventing the meaning of words to suit his purpose.

While many on the right have disagreed with W on spending and being a punching bag for the left, I never doubted his respect for our military. His grace, his faith, his courage, his class, honor, his respect for the office he held, his love of country. I can’t say ANY of those things about the current OCCUPIER and chief.

We do miss you, President (stated with pride) Bush.

When Clinton was President, folks in the military disliked him for his character, and his mis-use of the military.

But I fear (carefully chosen word) that our current service men and women will despise him because they can reasonably conclude he is a traitor, an anti-American, and truly NOT in support of the duty-call, the call to serve of the US military.
