A bad week for Democrats compounded by an awful moment for Barack Obama.

Getty Images President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.

After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.

This blast at Obama's Ft Hood reaction is from none other than his hometown NBC affiliate. But let no one be shocked, the man who would rise at 4am to see dead Americans returned to Dover AFB with cameras clicking away has not an iota of concern for our military. Worse, he has disdain and contempt for all of them and more love for his Muslim brothers than our young military members. can we somehow fast forward to Nov 2010 to get control of the House of Representatives to at least neuter his political policies. Unfortunately there is no help for the military until he is thrown out on the street in Jan 2013. God bless all our military and hang in there, the American people love you.

The One gets around to mentioning FT Hood, but only in passing...and he’s not gonna “jump to any conclusions”...thirteen dead, almost two score wounded...and this bozo doesn’t want to mention the POSSIBILITY of Islamic terrorism.

Surprising that an NBC News affiliate in Chicago would speak some truth. This was truly a despicable appearance before a grieving nation following the worst massacre at US military base on US soil (excluding Pearl Harbor).This man is a very poor excuse for POTUS, hopefully he’s a one termer.

It turns out that the so-called Medal of Honor winner that Obama gave that "shout-out" to, hadn't actually won the Medal of Honor, but the Medal of Freedom. The doofus couldn't even get that right, and he was the one who presented him the medal.
