ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: Could the health care bill be in real trouble in the House?
The Democratic defections are starting to pile up in advance of a vote scheduled for tomorrow on sweeping health reform efforts. (That schedule could slip to Sunday or beyond, if the votes aren’t there.)
According to the National Republican Congressional Committee -- which, of course, has an interest in watching this vote particularly closely -- 15 House Democrats and counting are saying publicly that they’ll oppose the measure when it reaches a vote.
Democrats can afford only 40 such defections to squeak the bill through. They’d prefer to win with room to spare.

Those in danger in 2010 will be allowed to vote against the Bill. They will allow as many to leak off as necessary to secure 220 votes. A few RINOs may even vote for the Bill, giving cover to an equal number of Democrats who can then vote "no," as if they're opposed to it.
Don't be fooled. There are no Blue Dogs. Take a look at all the promises Owens has already broken, and he was just sworn in.

Don’t get all giddy. You might see 80 - 100 Democrats vote against the bill, assuming Pelosi lets it go to a vote. But they are covering their a**es so they can get reelected. I doubt there are 20 that are actually against it.
I think it was Jonah Goldberg who had a quote recently about the Democrats love big government, but they love getting reelected more.
Today I spoke to someone in my congressman’s office and told her I will do everything possible to defeat him in the next election if he doesn’t vote against this idiocy and he’ll be getting his Pink Slip.
She said he was firmly against Cap and Tax.
Of course he was.

You forgot the exclamation points, but a good summary. My “Blue Dog” has written in favor of it...after multiple protests forced her against her will to hold 3 town halls, where she was BLASTED, she now says: ‘All I heard in the town halls was how our system is broke and needs to be fixed’.

I think the biggest difference is that there are some honest prostitutes.
Right now we are winning and it looks like this POS won’t happen BUT this is ONLY because of our pressure. We are like boxers winning a fight.
