Imam says Fort Hood suspect didn't seem radical
Associated Press

SILVER SPRING, MD. — A Maryland imam at the mosque attended by the suspected Fort Hood, Texas, shooter says the Army psychiatrist never seemed to be an extremist.

Imam Faizul Khan says he knew Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan for more than 10 years. They first met at the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring.

Kahn says Hasan was quiet and reserved. They mostly discussed religious matters, but Khan says Hasan never seemed controversial. They rarely discussed politics.

Kahn says they spoke often about how Hasan wanted to find a wife. He says Hasan never married.

On a form filled out by those seeking spouses through a program at the mosque, Kahn says Hasan listed his birthplace as Arlington, Va., but his nationality as Palestinian. Khan says he doesn't know why because Hasan was born in the United States.

From “imam’s” perspective he probably didn’t appear radical. I can just imagine what “imam” would call radical.

Khan seems to contradict the interview by Sheppard Smith at FOX NEWS about Malik Hasan.

My suggestion is for ALL to COPY the interview video and audio located at YouTube BEFORE it is scrubbed.

Better yet, why don’t we let them join the military so they don’t have to bother with security to attack us. They will already be on the inside.

By the time Atta and Shehhi returned to Virginia Beach from their travels in Georgia, Hazmi and Hanjour had also arrived in Virginia, in Falls Church. They made their way to a large mosque there, the Dar al Hijra mosque, sometime in early April.73

As we mentioned earlier, one of the imams at this mosque was the same Anwar Aulaqi with whom Hazmi had spent time at the Rabat mosque in San Diego. Aulaqi had moved to Virginia in January 2001. He remembers Hazmi from San Diego but has denied having any contact with Hazmi or Hanjour in Virginia.74

At the Dar al Hijra mosque, Hazmi and Hanjour met a Jordanian named Eyad al Rababah. Rababah says he had gone to the mosque to speak to the imam, Aulaqi, about finding work. At the conclusion of services, which normally had 400 to 500 attendees, Rababah says he happened to meet Hazmi and Hanjour. They were looking for an apartment; Rababah referred them to a friend who had one to rent. Hazmi and Hanjour moved into the apartment, which was in Alexandria.75

Fort Hood suspect didn't seem radical

Maybe because the commands to kill infidels are in the Koran so killing infidels is not radical. An argument can be made that it is extreme because the great majority of Mohammedans do not participate in such activities, but it is not radical.

A “moderate” Mohammedan is less than Moslem. To be Moslem is to accept the Koran as the word of Allah. The Koran says kill infidels and emphasizes kill Jews. There is really no room in Islam for merely cultural Moslems such as there are unobservant “cultural” Catholics or Jews or even Protestants.

Did Homeland Security and the Brass at Walter Reed ignore his rantings, promoted him and sent him to Ft Hood?

Mark Stein does a great job of shredding the pc bs and getting to reality of Islamic Killers in America and around the world:

MARK STEYN: MULTICULTURAL ILLUSIONS KILL - NO STRATEGY TO DEFEND AGAINST IDEOLOGY

Thirteen dead and 31 wounded would be a bad day for the US military in Afghanistan, and a great victory for the Taliban. When it happens in Texas, in the heart of the biggest military base in the nation, at a processing center for soldiers either returning from or deploying to combat overseas, it is not merely a “tragedy” (as too many people called it) but a glimpse of a potentially fatal flaw at the heart of what we have called, since 9/11, the “war on terror”. Brave soldiers trained to hunt down and kill America’s enemy abroad were killed in the safety and security of home by, in essence, the same enemy – a man who believes in and supports everything the enemy does.

And he’s a US Army major.

And his superior officers and other authorities knew about his beliefs but seemed to think it was just a bit of harmless multicultural diversity – as if believing that “the Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor” (ie, his fellow American soldiers) and writing Internet paeans to the “noble” “heroism” of suicide bombers and, indeed, objectively supporting the other side in an active war is to be regarded as just some kind of alternative lifestyle that adds to the general vibrancy of the base.

When it emerged early on Thursday afternoon that the shooter was Nidal Malik Hasan, there appeared shortly thereafter on Twitter a flurry of posts with the striking formulation: “Please judge Major Malik Nadal [sic] by his actions and not by his name.”

The above is an excerpt. Go to the link below for Mark’s complete oped.

The imam is a lying liar. I head audio last night of his comments. He said perp joined military post-9/11, because of 9/11. Perp joined BEFORE 9/11.

Everything else out of its filthy mouth is a lie also.

find out if the Mosque received any Funds from Saudi Arabia to teach Wahabbism.

Exactly. Bingo, thank you. They are only serving their Saudi masters. And so are we, thanks to dependence on foreign oil.
