Absentee Ballot Surge Raises Red Flags in New Jersey (video)
Fox News ^ | Nov. 3, 2009

Posted on 11/03/2009 12:41:51 PM PST by Free ThinkerNY

John Fund: The state has received a flood of 180,000 absentee ballot requests.

On some 3,000 forms the signature doesn't match the one on file with county clerks.

Yet citing concerns that voters would be disenfranchised, Democratic Party lawyer Paul Josephson wrote New Jersey's secretary of state asking her "to instruct County Clerks not to deny applications on the basis of signature comparison alone."

Mr. Josephson maintained that county clerks "may be overworked and are likely not trained in handwriting analysis" and insisted that voters with suspect applications should be allowed to cast provisional ballots.

Those ballots, of course, would then provide a pool of votes that would be subject to litigation in any recount, with the occupant of New Jersey's highest office determined by Florida 2000-style scrutiny of ballot applications.

There was a good deal of voter fraud going on before the "motor voter" laws went into effect, but now it has gotten to the point that all elections are suspect. This is exactly what the democrats were aiming for, and despite warnings, the GOP let them go ahead.

We'll end up a third world country very quickly at this rate.

If Christie is leading by 2+ expect to see the fraud start to come out. The Dems already gave up on Virginia, if they lose New Jersey they know what it means. Just like Dick Morris said yesterday, the blue dogs value their jobs more then this health care bill, if Christie wins, they will be TERRIFIED to vote yes on Obamacare. There is going to be massive voter fraud, from the dead suddenly voting democrat, to people in ICU voting Democrat.

Like the Franken so called "election", they can count and recount until they can manufacture or "find" enough votes to win.

Barack Obama has asked us to help his friend Corzine stay in power in New Jersey, as we have experience in massive election alteration... Unfortunately since they rejected the suggestion that they arrest Christie on trumped-up charges, and stone him, we can only provide limited consulting ideas.

THAT’S the thing that is most distressing to me.

This type of fraud isn’t limited to New Jersey. It is standard procedure for democrats everywhere.

Here is a first hand account of a situation that opened my eyes to the abuse of the absentee vote.

My sis-in-law is a registered voter but almost never votes. During the election of 2004 I persuaded her to vote for Bush. But when she got to the polling place she was not allowed to vote because someone had already submitted a vote in her name by absentee ballot. She called me, I called the Republican party and they sent a volunteer rep to meet us at the polling place. The rep pushed the issue until they let sis-in-law vote on a provisional ballot.

The Republican rep then told me that finding bogus absentee ballots for infrequent voters was pretty much standard procedure. She said that democrats working for the Supv. of Elections illegally run a data report showing registered voters who do not have a history of actually voting. Then, democrats prepare and submit bogus absentee ballots for those voters.

The most bitter part of this fraudulent voting is that the bogus absentee ballot is submitted far enough in advance so it has already been registered as a vote by election day. When the real registered voter shows up they are refused anything but a provisional vote. And democrat poll workers are reluctant to permit even that unless challenged.

After the election the Supv. of Elections makes a determination as to which vote is the real one. Guess who gets the nod when the Supv. of Elections and their staff is democrat.

I think the dems get together and discuss various tactics of this nature, so it is probably one of ACORN’s main tactics. What is needed is stiff prosecution and long prison sentences for violators. This is very difficult, however, when you have judges that are as crooked as those being tried.

The amount of voter fraud allowed supposedly to prevent voters from being disenfranchised is incalculable. That's what they always scream: any strict form of verification of voter identify will disenfranchise voters, and they always seem to get away with it.

Make them high, and watch the roaches run!

BAD IDEA. High penalties just mean they'll put more effort into hiding.

Focus on punishment and you'll just get denials, some trials, maybe some guilty verdicts, and then more denials.

What I would do is give blanket amnesty to anyone willing to publicly testify in front of the senate to participating in voter fraud.

Nine out of ten would admit to helping Democrats. That would make amnesty worth it.

Public hearings where everything that needs to be said can be said freely without punishment would destroy the Democrats.
