Canadians still 'distrust' United States : poll
Breitbart ^ | November 01, 2009 | Breitbart

Posted on 11/02/2009 6:47:31 PM PST by RobinMasters

Canadians are no more loving of the United States under its current leadership than during George W. Bush's presidency, suggested a poll published Monday. But they do like President Barack Obama a whole lot more than his predecessor, said the Historica Dominion Institute survey of 1,018 Canadians.

Obama was viewed favorably by 86 percent of respondents, compared to only 21 percent for Bush in 2005.

"What's striking about these findings is how Canadians have detached their personal view of Barack Obama, whom they quite like and respect, from the United States, which they still view with skepticism, even distrust," said Andrew Cohen, president of the institute.

Compared to results of a similar poll taken four years ago, Canadians have a marginally improved view of Americans as individual people, with 71 percent expressing a favorable view in 2009 versus 68 percent in 2005.

86% like him hunh?

We'll add that to the list of reasons why Canada has got to go and it's people need to be transported "back home" (wherever that is) as soon as possible.

Yeah. Right. Sure. This poll was taken in Southern Ontario, Quebec and Western British Columbia.

Take it again in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick and see how the numbers turn out.

Since a lot of us have family there, (my mother, for example) and are descended from a Canadian parent, we think about Canada. So do millions of Americans living on the border and doing business.

I live on the border. My Canadian Friends all realize Obama is ruining the country; and in turn it will also affect them;;; and they know it too. Most of my Canadian Friends are Athabaskan Indians & Halfbreeds but half their relatives are Alaskans. So I wouldn’t get on too much an anti-Canada kick. They are just like us, out in the west; they can’t wait till Obama is outta there too. Heck, where would Canada get all their nice guns from if Obama had his way?

Even if snowbirding Canadians were forced to live in New Orleans, Downtown Houston, or Memphis, they would remain liberal socialists. Like all liberals, they start with a chip on their collective shoulders (not being American in their case), and then seek compensatory moral superiority through an ostensibly charible political philosophy.

What a laugh!Buahahahahahaha!

Nah! Don't believe a word of this liberal pap. Canadians who have examined obama, beyond the image mongering foisted on an unsuspecting public by Axworthy and the Obama media czars, understand one thing:

Obama is no friend of Canada's. Obama is against free trade and intends to "renegotiate" it. Obama is a union placating piece of shite.Obama is the much worse than Pierre Elliot Trudeau equivalent that nearly ruined Canada as a nation.Any Canadian who has looked at Obama beyond the distance of the end of their proboscus, either upper or lower, understands one thing:

The sooner Obama is gone, the better it will be for Canada and her economy.

This so called survey targeted the mindless wankers of Canada, the ill informed.Ask a cadre of bankers, stock brokers and economists in Canada what they think of Obama. Then you will get the truth of what informed Canadians feel about Obama.

And it ain't comfort.
