As a current resident of Florida and former resident of Massachusetts, I feel blessed to have RINO Crist instead of Deval patrick who may not be the DEVIL but is definitely the anti-Crist.

As a MI resident, I’ve GOT to nominate our own Aunt Jenny, also. Tonight there’s a news teaser re: her wanting to eliminate the 4-H program. I’ll bet she’s fighting tooth and claw for all the handouts to her Muzzie friends. I read in the GR Press a while ago that she wants to sell the State fair grounds to be developed for business for this “poor” area. Yeah, well how bout putting all those who have devestated the Detroit area having the hands-on job of reclaiming it? Like maybe every criminal do his/her time in a chain gang clearing away the debris of thier 50-year party at the rest of MI’s expense?

Hard to say. You're right that most freepers would probably just nominate the Governor of their own state. (don't know enough about Jim Doyle to render judgement -- surprising since he's right across the border from us Chicagoland voters -- though Wisconsin freepers sure don't like him)

There's probably AT LEAST a dozen sitting Governors out there that have done a miserable job. Blago would certainly be tied with Kathleen Blanco for worst Governor during their heyday in the last election cycle, but those days are gone now. Quinn's been a total disappointment (I think the only ray of sunshine after the Blago era was Quinn announced on day one that he'd actually live in the Governor's mansion), but Quinn's certainly lost his "maverick" anti-combine streak that defined most of his political career. Still, merely being "disappointing" and lumbering along is not enough to make him "worst in the nation" like his predecessor

Charlie Crist is a total douchebag who has egg all over his face after being on the wrong side of history by backing Porkulus, but given how bad other Governors are I can't place him in the top 3 or even the top 5. The first three on my list are pretty much indisputable total failures no matter what a person's political persuasion is.

Crist isn’t the worst governor in the country. Terrible, yes, but not even close to being the worst.

Granholm, Doyle, Corzine, Patterson, and the now-unemployed Blanco all spring to mind ahead of Charlie Loafers.

As to Quinn living in the mansion, a few weeks ago I saw a news piece about how’s hardly there. It’s a waste of money to maintain it.

Am I wrong to hope the machine backed Hynes beats him in the primary? He seems less rabidly liberal than Quinn.
