Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman (NY-23) spoke with Mark Levin [last night]. I cannot recall Mark ever speaking so forcefully in asking his listeners to support a candidate as he did for Mr. Hoffman's campaign for Congress. One of the things Mark said (to Hoffman) was, "Your election is crucial, not just to you but to this nation."
Note: An mp3 download of the interview is here.
The IDIOT republicans are going to split the vote again, and hand victory to the democraps
WE NEED TO CHANGE THE LAWS TO HAVE A RUNOFF between the top two when no candidate gets over 50%- that way you can vote for the coservative (3rd party) with confidence
Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.
Scozzafava also holds these positions:
Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.
This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.
There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year. Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

If they are idiots, why do you care or comment?
Ping.
Runoffs are problematic as well. They are costly, and often turnout for the runoff is very low compared to the normal election day.

A better solution is the “instant runoff.” This is where you pick your first choice, second choice (and third if it is a 4 way race). When the ballots are all counted, if there is no majority, the ballots for the lowest vote getter are recounted for their second choice. The process continues, with the lowest candidate dropping out and next choice votes being counted until there is a majority for a winner. With modern electronic voting equipment that is in use in most places, this could be implemented pretty easily.

If you believe the "republicans" are "idiots" then you should donate to the Hoffman campaign. In this case a Republican "victory" would be worse than a democrat victory, because the Republican in this race is arguably more liberal than the democrat. In this race the Republican IS the democrat.
Go Hoffman!
I’m going to fire off a modest donation (I’m laid off, unfortunately) to this man TODAY. He sounds like one of us.
I want us conservatives to drag him across the finish line. Especially after I heard that Dear Leader used his fund raiser in NY the other day to bolster his Democrat opponent.
Enough is enough.
Check is in the mail today. Defeat the status quo, support Hoffman. Send a message to Washington, the GOP, and the RNCC.
Thank you Mark Levin for trying to undue the damage national GOP leaders have done by endorsing this dyed-in-the-wool socialist in republican clothes. I don't care if she did sign a no-tax pledge, she's a farleft fanatic......check out this nutcase supporter of hers attacking Doug Hoffman......
Yeah, imagine Floriduh voters, who can’t fill in a circle or punch a chad out of a card with a lawyer, participating in an “instant runoff” ballot.
That’ll work.
The NY-23 race is really separating the true Conservatives from the RINO’s, isn’t it?
Duh, me
