Looks close to the southern border of Costa Rica.
Just to the left of the word "San Jose" along the north edge of the map is the Nicoya peninsula, a fascinating seismic area near volcanoes, a huge undersea landslide, and the interface of a subduction zone between crustal plates.

The area from Nicaragua to Panama along the Pacific is very active both volcanically and seismically.

I am kinda ignorant about such things, but let me ask anyway. The recent eq’s in the pacific seem to have triggered others. Is there anyway to know if more can be expected anytime soon further up the coast of CA? Please tell me no. lol
