Thanks for the map....looking at the red fault line, I noticed that “squares” were made...from the big red 6.1 to the earlier smaller one in yellow. Just looks strange that the cracks in the earth would be at right angles.
Looks close to the southern border of Costa Rica.
Just to the left of the word "San Jose" along the north edge of the map is the
Nicoya peninsula, a fascinating seismic area near volcanoes, a huge undersea landslide, and the interface of a subduction zone between crustal plates.
The area from Nicaragua to Panama along the Pacific is very active both volcanically and seismically.
