The "tea party" movement is back.

Groups of conservative protesters opposed to massive government spending are taking to the streets again, this time targeting the media.

The "Can You Hear Us Now" rallies are planned for Saturday in front of NBC studios in Burbank, CNN in Atlanta and affiliate stations of NBC, ABC and CBS across the nation.

"American citizens outraged by President Obama and the actions of Congress have set their sights on a new target -- the so-called mainstream media -- with tea-party protests now set to boil in front of more than 30 press offices across the U.S.," the lead organizing group, FaxDC, wrote in a press release.

Organizers are encouraging protesters to also rally outside of The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and other prominent newspapers.

If the major networks are going to demonize this movement at every turn, why not target them? Why are we required to play nice with people whose only argument is ad hominem insults?

My thoughts exactly. The same reasoning applies to the Pubbies vs Dems in congress. Look where "playing nice" has gotten the Republicans up to now.

Apparently though, this conclusion is like rocket science to our Republican representatives and the GOP leadership..

If big enough crowds show up to these protests then Fox News has a lot of work ahead of them trying to cover each rally because the networks and pencil neck geeks at the NYT won’t be.

Exactly—downplay it if best like the very big Tea Party of 9/12. They will continue on as instructed by the DNC, until they (DEMS) lose in the upcoming Nov elections—which means we need a BIG turnout.

Spot on! One of the Saul Alinsky "rules for Radicals" is to make one's opponent play by his own rules.

Let's make them eat those Saul Alinsky "Rules" until they are ready to choke on them. It has already been shown that this can be done without resorting to criminal acts of violence or turning the demonstration sites into pigsties.

P.S. Cloward-Piven can be turned back on them vis a vis HUGE mega-turnouts.

History is full of examples of "unstoppable" forces who effectively taught their enemies how to eventually defeat them.

Hannibal is a classic example.

For people so obsessed with activism and revolution the Fabian strategy might represent a special kind of torment! Compare Hannibal's mercenary troops with ACORN and other species of radical leftist looters.
