Conservatives (Dittoheads in particular) make many demands of Rush Limbaugh. He's considered a spokesman and a champion of their political philosophy, and one who articulates it to millions every day. But now that he's been dropped by a group seeking to acquire the St. Louis Rams football team because of media statements taken out of context (and in this case, simply made up), he needs to punch them in the mouth.

I think Rush has a true case for libel against him. Knowingly untrue statements leveled at him for malicious reasons.
For far too long the left has gotten away with this type of reporting/slandering.It is time for this nonsense to end and it would be fun to watch the moonbats squirm.

Agreed, he sues should force these people on the witness stand and expose their lies. He is far from a racist and the real racist know it.

I understand the knee-jerk reaction is to sue- that’s the libs’ favorite tactic- but I’d give it a LOT of thought before going ahead in that litigious direction.
I’m not saying he won’t or shouldn’t sue- just that it should be a well-thought out decision and not an impulsive reaction to the racist scumball haters.
Why the Rams anyway? Rush should make an offer for the Buffalo Bills and finally, FINALLY bring home the bacon for Western NY.
Sueing will be a PITA for Rush, and a distraction. However, in this case not sueing will be an even bigger PITA and a distraction, and will make him looked like a whipped.
This is going to get real interesting and fast.

I agree. Send a message to the MSM that this kind of demagoguery stops now. With the money he gets he could buy CNN and mold it into The Conservative News Network. FNC needs some competition.
Rush can fight this til dooms day. The race baiters love him for it. Life is short. There are bigger battles and opportunities in this “free country” to pursue.
In fact, I would not be surprised that a lawsuit will be filed within the next week. And it could bring down both Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith at the same time.

As soon as a person falls, or has a fender bender, their thoughts IMMEDIATELY go to the idea of suing.
Testimony at depositions about what people were heard to say right after the incident confirms this.
Let’s not forget the old adage, “look before you litigate”.
