RINO 'On the Run' in NY23 Special Election
American Spectator ^ | 10/14/09 | By Robert Stacy McCain

New York conservatives believe they have a big opportunity to defeat liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava in the Nov. 3 special congressional election in the upstate 23rd District. Scozzafava is reportedly running low on cash, while businessman Doug Hoffman -- running on the Conservative Party line in the three-way race -- has picked up key endorsements as well as support from "9/12" Tea Party activists.

The conservative blog Red State recently announced a $250,000 fundraising goal for the Hoffman campaign. Among the organizations endorsing Hoffman is the political action committee of the American Conservative Union, which today hosted a conference call for reporters and bloggers

I hope they do. I would love to see a real Conservative win that seat.

If you want to send a "No More RINOS" message to the RNC, make a donation to Hoffman, the Conservative candidate in this race. And when you get your next RNC fund raising letter, send the receipt for that with a note telling them that you support conservative candidates who stand for core conservative principles and values.

I wish just 10% of the people who donated to Joe Wilson would take up this cause and put this guy Hoffman in a better position to win this seat from the RINO and the RNC/NRCC. This is an opportunity to send a message before the 2010 primaries, now while recruiting is still happening for next year's primaries and elections.

The NRCC is now funding ads against Hoffman. Mostly, this is because Scozzafava really can’t attack the Democrat. They share the same position on almost every issue.

Does the party actually read what is returned in those fundraising letters/surveys. I always imagined a room full of interns pulling the checks out and throwing the rest in the trash.

You are probably correct. I have considered using security paper (check stock) cut and sized to look like a check, as the paper to deliver my message to the party. That might make it to accounting before landing in the trash.

Hey, I like that photo.

One of my old techie friends played with the big stuff in the pacific. He had some tales to tell.

Father-in-law made them for 42 years.

“Nuke it from orbit.”

That’s a good approximation of some movie dialogue that near the
top of my list of favorite movie quotes...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090605/quotes
(WARNING: ADULT VERBIAGE on the linked page!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Scroll down about 80% of the page to see dialogue listed below)

Vasquez: [after barely surviving the Alien surprise attack] Okay.
We have several canisters of CM-20. I say we go back in there
and nerve gas the whole (venacular obsecene gerund deleted) nest.

Hicks: It’s worth the try, but we don’t know if that’s gonna effect them.

Hudson: Let’s just bug out and call it even, why are we talking
about this for?

Ripley: I say we take off, and nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

(PS: That is a very cool photograph...looks so good I’d wouldn’t
be shocked if it was computer enhanced/generated!!!)

That’s what it said on the pic, the ‘68 French nuke test. Pretty, but deadly.

This race is helping provide the paradigm for a new principled and practical electoral approach for conservatives.

If the Republicans refuse to run true Reagan conservatives, let them face a three-way plurality election between two liberals, Democrat and Republican, versus one conservative.

Properly handled, I’ll take those odds.

Deadly, but also necessary to protect the nation.

In the hands of the Imams, don’t even want to contemplate that.

I said on 9/11 our first act to respond should’ve been to turn Mecca into a giant sheet of glass. They’ve already declared Jihad on us, and making kissy-face with them ain’t gonna change that.

Liberals consider RINOS an endangered species. They will do everything they can to save them and get another RINO nominated in 2012. They love RINOS.

Good.

A GOP beside a name means nothing anymore. As soon as the faux conservatives are replaced with real conservatives, regardless of party, the better.
