PETITION TO FORCE CONGRESS CRITTERS TO ENROLL IN HEALTHCARE THEY VOTE FOR
SELF

Posted on 10/12/2009 8:27:26 PM PDT by Salamander

PLEASE READ AND ACT. IT ONLY TAKES 15 SECONDS Please pass this on!!

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment, courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn, that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough! Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana !

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and sign his petition (very simple - just first, last and email). I have immediately done just that at: http://fleming.house.gov/index.html . Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

Same thing they are asking us to do.

This could backfire - they might grab this as a ploy - knowing full well that they could reverse it long before the health bill goes into effect 3 years from now..

This needs to be done at the State Level:

All Residents of the State of “your State” who are employed by any Government Agency shall enroll in the Public Healthcare Plan. Any person who fails to enroll in the Public Option shall be Guilty of a Felony punishable by a mandatory 25 years in State Prison and Complete Civil Asset Forfeiture.

99.9% of EVERYTHING that republicans submit or propose into legislation is intended to simply illustrate the point that the democrat party is a bunch of hypocrits...

Because the republicans know full well that no matter what they submit that has any hint of conservatism in it will get blasted and flushed down the toilet faster than Obama can say “I accept the prize”.

According to the fourteenth amendment, we are all EQUAL under the law and the LAW applies to ALL citizens EQUALLY. It is unconstitutional for them to exempt themselves under any provision they pass without overriding the fourteenth amendment with a new AMENDMENT.

I would prefer a petition that says that anyone in favor of single-payer or insurance mandates or whatever brand of Govt control on healthcare they like ... MOVES TO CUBA.

I don’t know.

A friend sent it to me and at this point, I’ll take a Hail Mary pass over just sitting helplessly as MY life and health are overtaken by the government.

What ever happened to all those abortion hags screaming “Keep your laws off my body”?

The don’t see the hypocrisy in this?
