Short excerpt due to AP source material.

Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi, who also heads the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said the site near the holy city of Qom is next to an ammunition depot controlled by the elite Revolutionary Guard

Nice of him to offer that little tidbit. Not only will it be "blowed up real good," it will likely take out a good number of scumbags in the process.

Makes it easier for Israel to take out both of them at the same time.

Problem is that the GBU-39 can only penetrate about six feet of concreate, the only weapon that could take out a facility built under a mountain would be a nuke. More likely scenario would be some type of ground units going into the facility and using explosives to destroy it from the inside.

Only if the Israelis do it. The current administration lacks the gonads to do anything of the sort.

All tunnels have openings to the surface. Enough said.

Destroying a tunnel entrance is only a temporary setback, once its cleared the facilities inside would still be intact. I think if Israel were commit itself to doing a job like this, they do it right.

These idiots make me laugh (and cry). The powers that be say that a military strike would ONLY set them back 1 to 3 years. Hey, to me, that is better than them coming up with a bomb now! And we could hit them again in a year and set them back a few more years. This is insane.......

It seems to me that super-penetrator type of guided weapon could be outfitted with a low yeild tactical device. First, you penetrate a couple of hundred feet into the ground, detonate, and radiate hundreds of feet in all directions. It seems that would make it kind of hard to dig it out and make any facility functional again (at least for a couple of hundred years).

But then, I am no expert.

We have this all wrong. We need to use psy ops to make the site impure AFTER it is bombed.

Thats easy to do!

I was thinking the same thing. I am thinking the destruction of the program is not necessarily the physical destruction of all the “places.” You can destroy the program by killing the scientists and politicians.

And isnt Qum near where the 12th Iman went swimming in that well?

Its the advanced Ham Ram, the PORC MOAB XF PsyOps 666.

The principle munition is pre flight filled with alchohol and nude pictures of Helen Thomas.

We are working on hardening the Boar version now, so that the principle munition is powered by a shaped charge, and napalm for the Boar X incindiary version.

Other research is also being conducted into PIG-LET anti personal mine versions deployable from pods via mini parachute, with time delayed fuses. This munituion is the worst of all because it becomes mobile after ground deployment.

Apparently, the Iranian military are not complete dummies. There are numerous AAA & SAM sites near the new enrichment site.

In fact, to just to the west, there is what appears to be a huge complex of dispersed munition storage sites. The storage "bunkers" are arranged around hills, with individual bunkers tucked back up in small valleys/ravines so that the intervening ridges should limit lateral chain explosions.

There appears to be plenty of air defenses in that area, as well. Looks like any raid dealing with the enrichment complex should begin with cruise missile saturation of the surrounding defenses.

And there is a single runway with taxiway loop just to the northwest of the new nuke site.

All in all, a fairly challenging target area...
