NC unfortunately has been in the grips of the Democrats for years in state government to the point that we have the highest tax rate in the S. East and we have lost manufacturing jobs by the tonloads thanks to the high corporate tax rate here.

Add to that a very weak GOP here and, yes, NC went for Obama....though that count dragged on for weeks.

Would love it if some more conservatives would move here (by the thousands) so we could save this once beautiful and wonderful state!
