A school district in Arizona has come under fire after a newspaper columnist highlighted the district's newly adopted racial policy and called it a "two-tiered form of student discipline: one for black and Hispanic students; one for everyone else."
"TUSD principals and disciplinarians (assuming such creatures still exist) are being asked to set two standards of behavior for their students," MacEachern commented. "Some behavior will be met with strict penalties; some will not. It all depends on the color of the student's skin."

What country am I living in?????
This is an old april fools joke - right?
You know, the more exceptions these bleeding hearts make for errant behavior the more truly racist they are.
We need four tiers in Law.
Racists Holder and Obama with make one for violent blacks
and voting whites.
Then, CAIR and the traitors in SCOTUS will adopt Sharia law.
That’s racis’!!!
Equal application of the law?? No, time for a suit.

EXPECTIONAS are lower for children of color and Hispanic. It’s the liberal way of, don’t laugh ... not being a RACIST and UNDERSTANDING how one race is at a disadvantage. Of course all this is without being labeled a RACST. LIBERAL LOGIC MAKES ME NUTS!
...
Grijalva also told the Star that administrators have had too much discretion over the years to give some kids a pass while throwing the book at others; and since the majority of teachers are white, they might not understand cultural differences.
...
I see. Even out the VAST disparities in behavior by RACE! This is so insane. What's with these people? Different standards for non whites. Just great!
Did you notice this:
The board also created an “Equity Team” to ensure “a commitment to social justice for all students.”
social justice
It would appear that social justice is on the mind of more than Van Jones. Could it be that this movement is so enveloped in all parts of our society?
Does anyone from my era remember your Mother or Father saying to you: “Time Out”?????
Let the discrimination law suits begin.
“”Currently, we do have a two-tiered system,” she said. “If you look at children of color vs. Caucasian children, you will see that for the same kind of offenses, children of color are getting more severe consequences.”
The board’s report includes statistics that while American Indian students make up only 4 percent of the student body, they account for 20 percent of the suspensions across the district. And while black students only make up 7 percent of the student body, they account for 16.3 percent of out-of-school suspensions.”
And rather than finding out if maybe these students commit this percentage of suspension due offenses, we must assume they are being punished because of their race.
Good God, the stupidity, it burns!
As long as most white people continue to act like aracial droids this will only get worse as we devolve into multicultural anti-white babel.
You hit upon the crux of the problem in the institution at which I teach. I have been “involuntarily volunteered” to head a committee for “ISTEP [Indiana Standardized Test] Ethnicity” analysis of ISTEP scores across the various ethnicities present. One of the specific datum which the committee must address is the prevalence of disparity amongst various ethnic groups regarding achievement scores. One of the specific datum categories requiring analyzation is the category “Failure to Appear.” This simply translates to “those who chose to skip the testing days.” I hope it is not necessary to elaborate upon which ethnic group’s attendance rate was lowest. My point being that many students from this particular “ethnicity” have a tendency to 1. skirt their responsibilities (to utilize a euphemism), or 2. find themselves unable to take the test due to suspension/expulsion/JDC (Juvenile Detention Center) incarceration.
The numbers don’t lie. The practical analysis of my classroom discipline history doesn’t lie. On the whole, roughly 75% of my classroom discipline issues catalyze as a direct/indirect result of one particular “ethnicity’s” tendency toward misbehavior/malfeasance.
I'll save them the trouble: the "root cause" of blacks and hispanics being expelled at higher rates than those in other groups is because they misbehave more often. ....and they misbehave more often because they have less discipline at home (as a whole) than the other groups in question.
Lesson over. Is that sufficient to get me tenure?
More proof that the only folks still chasing racial straw men are the folks with a vested interest in maintaining the ‘entitlement’ class via the politics of victimization.
It’s time to take back the country.
Does anyone from my era remember your Mother or Father saying to you: “Time Out”????

Oh yeah...my father used to say “Time Out” when he was changing hands because one got tired.
Out of what some call blatant sadism came the time worn phrases “This hurts me more than it does you.” “Will whup on you till you cry, then punish you for crying”
My mother stopped that foolishness when I was 14 or so and raised my arms to protect my face and she hurt herself on my , sharp, skinny elbows...
I don’t even think the Nuns took the time to say “Time Out” as they were ‘praying’ while ‘introducing’ you to the joys of the Cross hanging around their neck....
Now I NEVER hit either of my kids (daughters) or wife, but I also didn’t believe in the “Time Out” phrase either.
It is called fear. White kids can’t sue for discrimination
What I remember is “bend over” and a stinging lesson applied to the back side. How thankful I am that my parents loved me enough to teach me right from wrong.
..hanging around their neck...etc..

Sorry about that...
Those that ‘remember’ know the cross was ‘wrapped’ around the waist and when the knuckles on the back of the head didn’t work, the cross was sure to get your attention....
Then there was the ‘palms up for your treatment with the guide edge of the ruler....
And I was one of the ‘good’ kids....
Gues they all WERE sadists at heart...<:
Nope. I must be from a different era. I remember mine saying. "Go out to the willow tree and bring me back a switch..."
This is exactly like reducing sentences for minorities only — to equalize the numbers if prisoners — by race...
Hey... I know... Let's pound our fists on the keyboard and maybe jump up and down. That'll fix these issues... Right?
Wake up people. Things are this bad in almost every aspect of our public lives. The frog pot is well and truly at a boil.
It takes real effort to be this stupid. I can assure you the majority of us here in AZ are scratching our heads also. It’s a liberals way of dumbing down minorities, lower the expectation and they will accept mediocrity as the norm.
Does this mean that muzzie kids will have fingers removed instead of going to detention?
Feel free, far as I know it is original
——don’t know if I heard it or not, sounds like something Chris Rock or George Carlin may have used....<:

Blatantly racist!
A few years ago Maricopa County Arizona had a seperate DUI Court for Native Americans and Hispanics~ this DUI court was consistantly handing down lower fines and lighter sentences than the regular court. I know people pitched a fit when they figured it out but don’t know if it is still happening. The justification of the seperate court was cultural differences about drinking.
Neah. More likely it will get you sent to “Sensitivity Training.”
And perhaps convicted of a “hate crime” before long...
In Miami Fl they had something similar when it was revealed there was a “non public” court docket for “special” or well connected defendants...all lighter sentences.
My mother would have run anyone off the place had they come around spouting such crap.
I imagine, this taking place in Arizona, that this school board won't get away with this.

Notice there is a link to "curriculum" on that page, although the curriculum page has no actual curriculum, since they need to hide that from the taxpayer. It does have the key phrase "social justice", though.
And if I bought in a little one, she would say "go back and get a better one"
Didn't take long to abandon that "pick a weak switch" strategy...
