His justification for two million goes a little something like this; "We had a university, I think it's a university , of - I don't remember which university it is. Look at the pictures and you know they can do body space, looked at it, did the body counts and came up with 1.7 million." Astounding! We must locate the mystery university...of something, somewhere. Of course he wasn't the only one to exaggerate a million or more. Michelle Malkin quoted two on ABC, because she says so - that's why. Limbaugh quoted a British tabloid as a source for his two million, sadly for him they didn't print it! Lou Dobbs assured radio listeners it was over a million, and Matt Kibbe organizer of Freedom works recanted!
I haven't yet found the link, but via This un named website's discussion I found out that it's the university of illinois who did this particular study.
I thought Beck said Indiana.
They’re quick with the hit piece. He just said this about 10 minutes ago tops.
Yeah, I heard that. That’s what got me searching for the link.
But this hit piece is probably based upon this:

Right at the top Glenn talks about the university of illinois’ study. But maybe he did say indiana.
It’s too bad he didn’t do more with his news page on his website.
I’ll keep looking for the link.
For almost two hours, that intersection and that road was full of people moving all the way to the capitol.
That was a LOT of people.
I thought I heard Illinois.
Mark Levin had a lib caller Monday who wanted a count.
Mark said something to the effect of
It was three, there were only three people. But understand that no matter the count, we are coming to defeat you.
I tried to run my RealPlayer back to hear it again, but it doesn’t go back far enough.
permits for, 45,000 busses — do the math.
I guess this event and the election of 2000 really does emphasize how poor Democrats are at math.
LOL..........
Three people.
The great one.
Don’t you know that Rove created all the photos & video we have seen with CGI& photoshop. No one was there, just ask the state run media, they’ll tell you.
they won’t all be fully utilized i’d guess but at just 30 per, thats 1.35mm people. People came other ways too. easy leap to the 2mm area.
This march merely foreshadows the turnout for the 2010 elections. Think about that socialist liberals and be very afraid.
The same institution that pegged Hussein’s coronation as the “biggest event ever in DC?”
Xerxes: Ha ha ha, you only have 300 Spartans!
Leonidas: You’re full of it! We’ve got a few thousand Thespians here too.
Xerxes: Ha ha ha, while I was luring you into a debate about numbers, my troops have outflanked and surrounded you! Now you die! Ha ha ha!
Never mind that DC police at the event said it was 1.5-2 million. And Limbaugh is right, a British “tabloid”, otherwise known as a daily newspaper, but calling it a tabloid makes this lib feel better, (I think it was the Daily Mail) did say there were 2 million people there.
If B.O. uses reconciliation for Obamacare take this same picture, add torches and pitchforks, and you have the next march on Washington.
Not even any of the Amazons from Lesbos?
Well, let’s see. The size of the crowd was roughly comparable to Zero’s inauguration crowd, which gives us a rough estimate. Then we adjust for the fact that Zero’s inauguration was in January and the crowd could be expected to be wearing warm, heavy clothing which takes up more space. Contrast this with the 9/12 rally where the weather was nice and people were dressed in lighter clothing and you can make an argument that the crowd numbers were the same or larger on 9/12 than for the inauguration.
Think about it like this: If you can fit 9 people in an elevator in full ski/hiking gear, how many can you fit in the same elevator with shorts and t-shirts?
Do you have a source for the 45,000 buses statistic? I’d love to be able to use that argument against the libs. Thanks.
