I’ll take the dems doing the right thing for a change anyway!
(Although you and others are right about shady shenanigans in the background!)
That is why we need a RICO investigation. That type of stuff gets followed and shutdown during RICO if done properly.
I predicted that one last week:

Boxer AYE? Panic city.
I just thought it was ironic.
If/when this passes the House, best keep a close eye out for the latter.
Let us not forget-——Obama The Community Organizer——taught these criminals all they know..
The good news———ACORN is dangling a lawsuit in front of Fox News for airing the damaging Baltimore videotape.
Let’s encourage the airheads——the discovery process will reveal their corrupt inner workings.
(A) There is a certainty of illegal use of govt funds for federal contracts....caught on tape.
(B) They have refused to open their books to public scrutiny.
(C) RICO charges should commence.
As a Missouri resident I honestly believe that McCaskill has good common Missouri sense. The problem is she is OWNED by the Unions. She can be counted on to do the right thing...unless her masters tell her no.
Excellent point.
Keep them on the defensive about this long enough and it will be election time and we can hopefully stick this around the Dems neck’s like a f***ing anchor!
Incredible. Feinstein votes for ACORN (while she appears to be leaning toward allowing interstate purchase of health insurance). Once a politician, always a politician, and she’s the prime example.
A CYA attempt by the democrap sinators..."Looky here! See, we defunded ACORN just as soon as we found out they were naughty!"
I agree that the same money will be funneled to the same people under cover and twisted accounting manuevers.
This is the core of Obama's Civilian Defense Corps, the Officer rank, I betcha.
The dems know that the 2010-2012 elections are already in the bank for them, so they can play theatrics to scam their base and to scam the right.
SA 2355. Mr. JOHANNS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 3288, making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
After section 414, insert the following:
Sec. 4__. None of the funds made available under this Act may be directly or indirectly distributed to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
Whether the gubmint knows all of the 300 odd entities tied to ACORN or that ACORN has already changed its name is another matter.
I feel the same but have my doubts with Holder - he already stopped the first investigation of ACORN.
Calling it ACORN/COI going forward
This vote was just a little too easy considering the Dim "Aye" votes. Schumer, Boxer, and company just don't roll over quite that fast and quietly unless the fix is in. I smell some Pubbie "aisle crossers" making some shady deals.
Speaking of which, anyone know who the 7 who voted “nay” are?
So this may be a worthless action...?
Only Durbin confirmed, so far.
