I do believe members of the Guard and Reserve have served in political office before. I can think of at least one locally and wasn’t it Sen. Sessions. If I’m not mistaken. There must be more.

Maybe Ma or their Governor is attempting to stack the deck.

As long as he does not campaign in uniform - he is GOOD. What do these liberals think - that if you serve your country in the military you give all all rights like voting or running for office?????

That is exactly what they think. They also think that disqualifies you from Jury duty as well.

I think that after 29 years of service, he should be able to muster some time for our state and represent us better than any Dem that has before him.

I’m sure if he showed up just one day a week for work for us it would be more than any other congresscritter so far.

This state is a mess and Deval needs to be put out of his misery! Vote the bum out!

Kerry right now is trying to fight/bypass the law to fill Kennedy’s seat that they fought so hard for to thwart Romney from appointing his position. I hate this state!

The dickhead congressman Mark Kirk from Illinois did a tour in Iraq while in office. He’s a RINO but I have to tip my hat to him for fufilling his service when called.

Isn’t the President an active military member? He gets to campaign.

Lindsey Graham is a COL in the Jag corp of the USAF/SC-ANG to this day.

And if I recall the news correctly he was on TAD in Afghanistan this year.
