AS I watched President Obama address Congress on his health insurance plan on Wednesday night, I was struck by his anger, his contradictions and his big omission.
The omission was a recognition that America offers the best health care in the world.
In his speech, Obama cited the recent death of Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy.
Bad example.
When Kennedy was struck with an inoperable brain tumor, he did not seek treatment in France, which we are told is the best health system in the world. (Just don't get sick in August; all the French doctors are on the beaches.)
Kennedy did not go to England for treatment, or to Sweden or Canada or Cuba.
Instead he went to Duke University in North Carolina and received pioneering treatment, just as his brother did for Addison's disease more than a half-century ago.
The cancer treatment doctors gave the last Kennedy brother may in some way help develop into another miracle of medicine that will be available to all.

He’s angry because in his entire privilged indulged life, no one ever told him “NO”. He is stuck at an emotional age of about 14. Plus throw in the race and marxism/class envy crap

I used to work with a guy just like obama. Only this fellow was not just 1/2 black.
We were friends, but it didn’t matter to him that he and I did the SAME work for the SAME money, both of us were married, had kids - the SAME station in life.
But he used to rant about how angry he was that ‘black people’ have it so much tougher than we ‘white’ people do.
We both came from broken homes. He told me that his mother used to work for the City of Detroit making a 100 grand a year... a LOT of it ‘under the table’. “You got to know how to WORK the system...”
My mother worked part time in the Sears lighting dept. and used to steal from our piggy banks to get us by.
Yet, when he’d have an angry day, he’d go off about our (white people) ‘inherited’ wealth. -Wealth that we white people have been collecting since the founding of this nation - money made off the backs of blacks and passed down generation to generation.
A number of us there informed him that we could trace our roots in America by our GRANDPARENTS who came over here in the 20’s-50’s as DIRT poor people who worked hard for very little and lived WISELY and took care of what they had.
He’d shrug it off and say we just don’t get it.. And continued in his anger at the ‘system’.
I wonder if obama being president has helped his situation any...

A child, especially a spoiled, ignorant and not very smart child, reacts with anger when confronted by adults. Fits the Obamaloon exactly.
Why is he angry? He is the Kanye West and Serena Williams of politics. He is fueled by anger and rage at what he sees as unjust treatment by non-blacks. I think it has now been well established that he really did listen to the Rev. Wright for 20 years.
They tend to work form anonymity writing for news papers and vicious anonymous attacks on the Internet. They burn down facilities and vehicles they do not approve. They take down radio towers and blow up transformers to attack their version of “wrong”. They sue the government to stop energy development use of natural resources. They attack the values and ideas that made this country great.

Former US Senator and democrat candidate for President, George McGovern flew 35 combat bombing missions in B24 Liberators (notoriously difficult aircraft to fly) over Europe during WWII and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. I’d say he rates as a liberal war hero...
