Contact information is listed below.
Please both CALL and email the Governor. We need to turn on the pressure!
Remember to ask the Governor to also VETO SB 585, the Cow Palace gun show ban.
Lastly, please share this information with every firearm owner, shooter, hunter, gun range and gun club that you know and ask them to help kill these bills.
AB 962 (Kevin De León, D-Los Angeles; Bonnie Lowenthal, D-Long Beach) Ammunition Sales Restrictions Even as amended, this bill would still place onerous restrictions on the purchase of ammunition. It would require all vendors to store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to buyers. It would require buyer registration and fingerprinting at the point of purchase. It would ban gun show, mail order and Internet sales.
SB 585 (Mark Leno-D San Francisco) Firearm Sales at the Cow Palace This bill would prohibit the sale of firearms and ammunition at the Cow Palace. It is also the first step in banning gun shows on all publicly owned property in California.

I'm sure we will get plenty of replies here saying how bad Calif. is how you are glad you got out, etc.
You're right, Calif. does suck when it comes to politics, 2nd amendment rights and other things, but don't forget that what happens in Calif. is often picked up by other state goverments so this could eventually effect you no matter where you live.
CA FReeper BUMP!!!
Skyman, what happens in Calif. usually goes to the 9th court of appeals which gets it wrong and reversed by the supremes.
Keyword “banglist” added to reach the FR shooting community.
There are always gun stores in Nevada or Arizona.

To some measure that’s ture, but the supremes haven’t overturned the thousands of pages of gun laws we have. Some of them started in Calif.
Isn't that a direct assault on the "keep and bear" phrase, much like government censorship of speech is on the 1st Amendment?
I use to live in N. Hollywood 32 years ago and I bought a pistol the old fashioned way, from a private individual without any govt interference.
Guess things have changed.
If he signs it, I’ll probably go into business selling ammo on the border. Maybe I can set up shop a mile closer to California than Cabelas.
What a great sporting goods store.
What good is a store with no product??
Tried buying any .45, 38SP, or .357 lately?
You think if CA goes dry you can just cross a border and pick some up?
I’ve been shopping CO, WY, MT, & WA for months and it’s damn hard to find.
On-line backorders 3 months.
On-line auction.....well, you take your chances....
You better plan on setting the politicians straight BEFORE they screw it up for everybody!
Yeah, I have tried to buy that stuff recently. And I’ve been stockpiling and hoarding for over a year.
The bill was about regulations and restrictions that only exist in California, not in Nevada or Arizona, as far as I know.
The article isn’t about running low on supply, it’s about government restricting purchasing in California.

Supplies seem to be increasing in NE Pa. Lots of ammo at Gander Mountain, local gun dealers and Cabela’s ( on line ) is getting restocked . Walmart is still lagging on restock however .
CUe the music
“My Cuntry tis of Three
A land that USED to be free
Of Thee I sing”
Or
My Country tis of Thee
Sweet land of subsidy,
of thee I cry.....
Not in Denver!
Not at Cabela’s on-line either.
Just had my July order moved to a supposed October delivery.
It's available here in OK, however the cost is getting to get a bit out of hand.
