Before he abruptly exited the White House last weekend, former green jobs czar Van Jones used his government position to help Obama's administration cynically green-wash the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Specifically, Mr. Jones helped lead an Obama-approved effort to reshape America's collective memory of the Sept. 11 atrocities. Eager to keep Mr. Jones in the vanguard of radical change, John Podesta's Center for American Progress reportedly offered Mr. Jones office space earlier this weekto help him get back on his feet.
This attempt to re-brand the horrors of Sept. 11 is part of the effort to ease America along in the radical transformation of the nation that the president promised on the campaign trail.
The vehicle for this push is the National Day of Service and Remembrance. In April, the president signed a bill declaring Sept. 11 a day of government-sponsored community volunteerism. Since then, the Obama administration and its allies in the activist left have decided to transmogrify Sept. 11 into a celebration of recycling, solar panels and radical community organizing called Green the Block.
Using the language of markets, Green the Block tries to convince Americans that the utopian fantasy of an oil-free, so-called green economy is possible without turning the United States into a Third World country.
It's a "partnership" between the Hip Hop Caucus and Green for All, a nonprofit incorporated by Mr. Jones.
The National Day of Service will be "the first milestone" for Green the Block.
But the campaign was explained in starkly different terms in a White House-sanctioned teleconference call Aug. 11: Groups in on the call included the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, AFL-CIO, Apollo Alliance, Color of Change, Friends of the Earth, Hip Hop Caucus, Jesse Jackson's RainbowPUSH Coalition and Young Democrats of America.

These enemies of America cannot take away our remembrance of 9/11. They consider themselves so superior to the populace that they can brainwash the entire country into denying what we saw with our own eyes. They are wrong.
It is imperative that we do not allow these enemies to blot 9/11 from our nation’s history by re-educating our children through Leftist textbooks, NEA teachers, and radical university professors (such as BO was).
Whatever happened to the take-no-prisoners, muscular, proud America that nobody would trifle with? Where we would crush our enemies like bugs? Now we have full-throated pussification of American under the cover of the vague and puerile notion of “greening” brought to us by radical marxists.
It’s a challenge to get through each day without thinking the nation is lost.
Only in their own minds.
We will never forget.
Regarding the article what in the World is The Hip Hop Caucus.
You have got to be kidding me.
They are September 10 people living in a September 12 world. According to Obamessiah and his minions: THERE IS NO WAR ON TERROR, Islamic TERRORISTS and Islam are our "friends" and Islam is the "Religion of Peace".
According to the Obama administration; WE along with the CIA and anyone who wants to protect America from these animals who are actively trying to destroy America and convert or kill us are now the Enemy that they must pursue and destroy!

"Jones was arrested during the L.A. riots and spent a short time in jail. "I met all these young radical people of color," he recalls, 'I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like, "This is what I need to be a part of." I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.'..."

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.
Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

What do you think these Americans think about obama/Van Jones’ trying to turn the greatest terror attack in American history into a “day of service”? Do you think they are planting trees today?

Obomber “1984” style memory-hole BS
Rush is addressing this now. I hope he makes the Van Jones link.

Let us NEVER forget those nearly 3,000 innocent Americans who were murdered by the Islamists.
Dont let Obama desecrate the memory of those Americans who were murdered by his fellow Muslims. Send this video to everyone you know.
Every American should view this video made by a New Yorker who lived through the attack:
http://attacked911.tripod.com/
This video has been viewed by untold millions and is now in the Smithsonian.
(Sadly, the New Yorker who made this video has since succumbed to lung damage sustained during the attack)
The video includes the planes crashing into the buildings and victims jumping. There are pictures of many of those who lost their lives, and president Bushs aftermath speech set to the haunting background music, Only Time by Enya. It is truly awesome.

Other news stories describe how President Obama issued a letter celebrating 9/11 as a ,i>"National Day of Service and Remembrance" (italics again mine).
I found the order both significant and telling. I also found it disturbing.
The body of the letter is even more disturbing. In it, the President (or his proxy) writes: "We are building a new foundation for growth and prosperity, but we cannot succeed without your help. We can rebuild out schools, but we need mentors and tutors to guide our students. We can modernize our health system, but we need volunteers to care for the sick and assist others in leading healthier lives. We can invest in clean energy, but we need people to maintain energy efficiency in their homes and help create a green economy." What exactly does commemorating an attack against American civilians who were beginning their work day at their places of employment have to do with "investing in clean energy?" Not a blessed thing. This letter, like almost everything else that emanates from Obama and the Democratic Party and is dutifully retransmitted by the mainstream media, is about what they want for America and nothing else. At the funeral mass for Sen. Kennedy, the very first petition (normally, it would be for the Church, the sick, or, especially at a funeral, the souls of the deceased and what we Catholics refer to as "the faithful departed".) The memorial service for Sen. Wellstone was 80% campaign rally, 10% political event, and 10% to celebrate the life of the deceased. Even when the dead are their own, the Democrats place their political agenda ahead of everything including honoring the dead. And the mainstream media dutifully supports their efforts. Go to Obama's serve.gov and see what others are doing on this day. According to the Heritage Foundation, "In Oklahoma students will pull weeds, plant flowers, paint benches, and plant a tree. In Minnesota, 100 volunteers will assemble Energy Efficiency Outreach Bags. And in South Carolina AmeriCorps members will serve in a variety of projects, including garden beautification, food and clothing collections, and working with homeless and hungry people." None of that has even the faintest connection to what happened eight years ago on 9-11. Leave it to Obama and the Democrats to find new and creative ways to desecrate the memory of those who died on 9-11, and especially the 343 firefighters and paramedics and 60 police officers who perished while bringing others to safety. It is an absolute disgrace to, on this day, diminish their ultimate sacrifice by featuring those who "assemble Energy Efficiency Outreach Bags" (whatever that is) or beautify gardens. And leave it to the mainstream media to feature them (in a dutifully laudatory tone) instead of on what we should be focused as we recall that terrible day.
Trying to build wind turbines in the dust of 3,000 murdered Americans.
Thanks 0bama, but I’ll pass on your Day of Service. I am a servant 361 days out of the year, but I will not be subservient on a day when we were attacked.
Now why don’t you run along and serve America by weaving hemp belts for the homeless because YOU certainly don’t understand the first thing about service... except serving yourself you arrogant ass!
Here Here....couldn’t say it better!!
