Joe should absolutely NOT apologize - Obama IS lying. If Obama can call Sarah Palin - who is the sole reason I voted for you last year - a liar when she has lied about NOTHING, Joe Wilson most certainly CAN call-out Obama for a real bald-faced lie.

Actually, I think that Wilson should apologize.
But only after pointing out that Obama did indeed tell a falsehood, according to the Congressional Research Service:
Wilson has an opportunity: he can "apologize" for being "disrepectful", but the media won't be able to cover it without validating Wilson's claim.
From a protocol perspective, McCain is correct. From a factual perspective it is quite another matter.
