Laura Bush is a lady of true dignity and civility. She understands that political differences need not entail personal hate, and that public discourse can be conducted in an atmosphere of mutual repect.

I’m starting to like Laura Bush about as much as I like George W. Bush.

Au contraire — she should stay out of this - the Left laughs at her not with her——how about some kind words for the Tea Party people instead?

She's also pro-abortion, and we know how dignified and civil it is to rip the arms and legs off little boys and girls.......

I guess George W didn't find too receptive a listener at home when he complained about the lying, hating press and demoncraps.

"I think he is [doing a good job]," Bush said when asked to assess Obama's job performance. No, he's a miserable failure, just like your husband.
Bush conceded that after her husband was elected president, he was unable to replicate his success as governor of Texas in reaching across the aisle to Democrats.
"He was disappointed that that was not the way it worked out in Washington," she said. "I'm sure President Obama didn't expect it to be that way [either]. ... All of us need to do what we can to come together on issues."
Spoken like a true RINO.
Though Bush expressed confidence that her husband will ultimately be remembered as "somebody who stood for freedom and who stood for the security of our country"...
Before or after he tried to grant amnesty to tens of millions of illegally-present foreign nationals?

Laura has been hanging around George too long. Her husband was a disaster as a president. Now, we have someone that actually makes him look not quite so bad. It is all a matter of degrees. You would think she would keep her mouth shut and let Obama keep screwing up, so that folks can think just a little bit better of George.
