Shooting at a controlled firearms range does not equate to a warrior. My wife can hit a 1,000 target but she’s no warrior. The Marines have become every bit as PC as any other branch of service.
Does your wife use a scope at 1000 yards?
We were talking about what makes someone a rifleman not a warrior.
By any definition the ability to hit a man sized target at that range with a kill shot is the mark of a rifleman, but there is more to it than that, all Marines are trained in combat techniques such as throwing a grenade, hand to hand combat and bayonet practise. If the ability to kill using different methods is the mark of a warrior, All Marines receive the same training, and in this PC world of ours that training has if anything become more realistic than when I went through boot camp.
