Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.
By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.

It’s been in the works for years but too many people were blind and stupid to what was right in front of them.
It is time to release the names of all members of the Democratic Socialists of America who are either in the administration or in Congress.
America is finally waking up to who these people are and what they actually stand for, and they don’t like it.

True and if the dithering ole fool McQuig could of persuaded just 3 out of 100 (3%) of people that voted for Zero, we wouldn't be in this mess. Then again if Palin hadn't come on board Mcquig would have lost by 8 - 10 percent.
On July 21, 1993, Browner irritated the tobacco industry by giving a statement before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Health and the Environment about secondhand smoke exposure that said,
EPA recommends that people not smoke in their home or permit others to do so. If a family smokes indoors, we recommend increased ventilation in the area where smoking takes place by opening windows or using exhaust fans. We also recommend that smoking should not occur if children are present, particularly infants and toddlers. Baby-sitters and others who work in the home should not be allowed to smoke in the house or near children.

Browner is also on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Climate Protection. What is the Alliance for Climate Protection? “it is Al Gore, substantially ... They also run the “We Can Solve It” campaign: “Climate change is real. And it’s happening much faster than was predicted just a few years ago.” They also run the “Repower America” campaign. USA Today reports that the Alliance for Climate Protection is spending $300 million over the next three years as part of their persuasion campaign. Their persuasion methods include: “early evidence suggests that many people will change if: … They think their children will be harmed by global warming, or children encourage the family to lead a greener life.”

So what is Browner’s background? “in the mid-1980’s Browner was associate director of Citizen Action, founded by Ralph Nader” [http://www.richardminiter.com/pdf/articles/19930208-art-insight.pdf] She was one of Gore’s aides when he was a Senator from Tennessee and was his legislative director from '88-'91. Everyone of those Czars thinks just like Obama and he thinks just like they do. Otherwise they would not be where they are. No President appoints contrarians as his advisers. They are his ‘soul mates’ They must all go including his supreme (in his mind) majesty!
