I refuse to ID my posts as sarcasm. Just assume 99.9% of my posts are full or either disdain, sarcasm, or irony.
Hoosiermama and others keep this thread up-to-date regarding Chicago crime.

Thanx
There have been so many scandals in such a short time that none of them stay on the front page long enough to stick.
What happened over the fired Inspector General? Have not heard a word about him in forever, even on this forum.
Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi, Reid, Rangel, Barney, Jefferson, the Czars, Air Force One, Obumbler, Dodd, and the hits just keep coming. The Apollo Project brags that they wrote the stimilus?
There are so many Pulitzers to be had it’s not even funny. Maybe Beck will get nominated for one. /s
While I would like to know and understand what is happening with each of these scandals there may be a silver lining in all of this. Too many Americans lack the patience to stick with a single story but almost all notice the number of them. It is starting to have a cumulative effect. The fact that so few are coming from the MSM is an added bonus and blow to them.
I hope to learn the truth because even the adoring media will eventually be unable to ignore the stench. Until then, Fox and a few others will continue to enjoy a growing audience.
LOL Alrighty! ;-)
Just a reaction to the need for everything to be explained.
Whatever floats your boat.
Why, thank you for the Chicago Democrat machine perspective, Mayor Daley. I didn't know you posted on FR. Yes we know you're really upset about your henchmen in Chicago being indicted left and right. So sorry you couldn't have a crooked combiner U.S. Attorney that would have swept it under the rug. Better luck next time.
>> At this point it would seem unlikely that his promised indictments in the Blago scandal will ever materialize. <<
Unfortunately for you, Mr. Mayor, Illinois voters are fully aware that Blagojevich and five other Democrat associates were indicted on Apr 2, 2009, in a 75-page, 19-count indictment handed down by the grand jury. As such, Blagojevich is awaiting his trial, set for June 2010, on federal racketeering charges. Given Fitz's track record when he indicted all your other socialist combiners, I wouldn't get my hopes up that Blago will beat the rap. They're preparing a nice bunk for him next to your RINO buddy George Ryan and your favorite fundraiser, Tony Rezko. Blago is gonna have to squeal like Scott Fawell or become big George's little shower buddy. You remember what happened with all "baseless" charges those guys were tried on, don't you?
>> Why he did that and who hes in the tank for I have no idea myself. <<
It sucks not having a U.S. Attorney the two parties can "control", eh Mr. Mayor? What an unusual animal, a political appointee that vigorously goes after ALL corruption he uncovers, regardless of party. Bad news for the combine in Illinois. Oh well at least the guy who appointed him is out of the picture and now you BOTH parties U.S. Senate candidates under your thumb.
He a million dollars or more on that investigation when no crime had been committed. (Valerie Plame was not covered by the law regarding 'covert agents.') He could have found out Plame wasn't covered by that law with a five minute phone call to the CIA if, high-powered attorney that he is, he didn't know it. Instead he proceeds with an expensive year long investigation into a crime that never happened.
BillyBoy, you can stick your sarcasm where the sun don't shine. Mmmm 'kay?
You also seem to be attributing this quote to me but I never posted that.
1) Your ENTIRE knowledge about Fitzgerald's career is based around the Scooter Libby case. You have no clue and do not care to know anything else about the dozens of other people he indicted. (shades of when George H. Bush throughly took Dan Rather to the woodshed for judging his entire career on Iran Contra) You base a man entire's career around ONE case and scream that Fitz is "partisan" because he happened to indict ONE person who has the same party affiliation as you (ironically, this means the only one being blindly "partisan" and putting party label above everything else is you). You have the exact same mindset as the Clintonites c. 1998 who were just fine with the REST of Ken Starr's career until the moment he went after the Clinton administration and then they made it their intent to destroy him and spew endless hatred of him because they couldn't stand to see their hero Clinton's legacy "tainted".
2) Your sheer TOTAL ignorance of Illinois politics and government, and the combine is astonishing. Most of you Fitz haters don't even know the man's first name and don't even know Blago was indicted. I'm amazed you post on this threads and spew your bile when you're obviously embarrassing yourself when you reveal how little knowledge of the "facts" you have in the case. It would be an diehard O.J. supporter coming on FR and saying "the crackers state of Ohio will never convict O.J. because the racist police there obviously framed O.J. for poising his cousin". Some Fitzgerald haters even claimed RINO George Ryan's indictment was "partisan", blissfully unaware that Ryan is a hero to the left and the only people who support "Republican" Ryan are lakefront liberals in Chicago. Honestly, stop embarrassing yourself. The Chicago Democrat machine should hire you guys to do their dirty work, you'd be perfect dupes. You have no knowledge whatsoever of Illinois. Some of you guys probably think we're located near Florida.
What more do I need to know? You can't address the points I made about that case can you? He should be in prison for that. Or does everyone get one free felony?
You base a man entire's career around ONE case and scream that Fitz is "partisan"...
I never once said he was partisan. You misattributed a quote to me and now you're making up things and attributing them to me. It seems honesty is not on of your values.
2) Your sheer TOTAL ignorance of Illinois politics and government, ...
I never claimed to know anything about Illinois politics. But rant on anyway...you're quite entertaining in a carnival sideshow kind of way.
If I wanted to hear this stuff repeated all day I'd hang out at socialist dictator rallies. Some of these "true conservatives" might consider it, they can find some political soul mates.
Oh, and another one I’ve noticed irritates the heck out of you as well. “JFK=Camelot” love fest threads. Again, something I’d expect to see at a big Democrat Party luncheon or mainstream media “news special” with the Kennedy clan. Freepers who really believe this stuff should take the material to DU and find a friendly audience.
BB, do you work for Fitz or just have a crush on the POS?
Must be a full moon. WEFG
LOL.
Fitzgerald appears to be a pure prosecutor, going after anyone who he thinks has a case against. I don't agree with his going after Libby on those ridiculous charges but one case does not make him crap. I can tell you Tigereye we are lucky though that case has given him enough cover with libs to prevent Obama from firing him. Cause Dick Durbin would recommend some real piece of crap hack that's owned by the democrat party.
If any freeper thinks Blago is innocent they living in a dream world. It sickens me that he is hosting a radio show. He and his wife are making money. Just like they wanted. I look forward to the day he is locked up and spending his days trying to avoid becoming someone's girlfriend.
These cases can take a very long time.
If only ‘Jack’ had lived longer. It would have been impossible for freepers to like him if he was the one who enacted the great society instead of Johnson.
Hopefully Goldwater could have beat him but I think the Rockerfeller set might have sabotaged his chances.
