I’ve missed the boat on “telephone town halls”.
How do they work?
What do they accomplished for the Democrats?
I’ve called that office several times over the past two weeks and was told that they didn’t know when the town halls would be scheduled but to keep trying.
Cowards. All of them.
At least we are able to put together a list of all the cowards. Warner qualifies.

That’s about it, but the congressional aide sure as hell better be able to sound like a burly union worker, a ‘housewife’, a ‘senior on Medicare’, and an illegal garment worker from the Bronx....
What they shouldn't be doing is having "public" "town halls" that are supposedly for them to "listen" to "the American people" - and then locking out all those they don't want to hear.
Mark Warner was a loser Governor and he's a loser Senator. One term wonder ~ best he resigns soon.

Scanning through the satellite channels I happened on Robin Williams movie about the ‘gay’ father and his ‘partner’ trying to fool his son’s prospective in-laws-to-be they were hetero......the aid probably is a student of Robin...
The Blue Dogs have turned into Yellow Dogs, afraid to face their conservative voters and having to answer for their socialist president. Chet “The Chicken” Edwards, Congressman from the 17th district of TX, held one of these “telephonic town halls,” which are really phony town halls. Anyone with half a brain could tell that he had screened those participating in advance....probably his staffers, since no one was identified.
For what its worth, I was invited to a Glen Nye (Congressman-Norfolk VA) healthcare telephone town hall meeting about 3 weeks ago. The phone just rang and a robo voice said the town hall was in progress and I could join in by pushing # key. You were invited to ask a question by pushing some other key. I listened for a while and hung up. I wish I could have articulated our points the way that Marine did recently!!
