This is one political tent virtually no one wants to be under.
Libyan President Moammar Khadafy will pitch a massive tent in the middle of a quiet New Jersey suburb when he is in town for a UN General Assembly meeting next month, according to The New York Post.
The terrorist-harboring leader -- recently photographed warmly embracing newly released Pan Am Flight 103 bomber Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi -- typically travels with an air-conditioned tent and plans to set up camp on the front lawn of an Englewood, N.J., home that is owned by the Libyan Mission to the UN, the paper reported.
Neighbors in the quiet Jersey suburb are fuming about the move to the Englewood property, which has been owned by the mission since 1983 and used as a weekend home. Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, one-time spiritual adviser to Micahel Jackson, lives next door.
"I think having a terrorist living next door would be devastating, and I'd consider moving," said one resident.
"Why would a head of government come to this small community to live? asked Dr. Peter Scaglione. "He must have an ulterior motive."
The meeting is scheduled to begin Sept. 23.
Khadafy has been forced off property at the United Nations because the area is under construction. He asked to erect a tent in Central Park but the request was rejected, sources told the paper.
They all look like Michael Jackson’s backup dancers
I can think of a few places like Newark and its Airport to let Krazy Kadaffi kamp.
If he promised that he and his 97 wives and 2000 kids would register Democrat Corzxne would help him move in :-)
Question Nick
Does Sopranos know this
The thought of Khadafy pitching a tent is just gross....
What horrible taste in clothes. He should let Michelle Obama design his wardrobe for him.
Sounds like a good potential Tea Bagger Tea Party target. I wonder if the cops would even allow protesters.
The term “Tea Bagger” doesn’t offend me because I cant be offended by someone I do not respect. I use it to take the power out of it.
