Gaddafi plans party with Abdelbaset al-Megrahi as his trophy

Prince Andrew is set to pull out of Libya visit for the anniversary of military coup, as claims grow louder that Westminster 'cut a business deal' with Tripoli over the release from a life prison sentence for the Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds.

If Gordon Brown is hoping that the furore over Abdelbaset al-Megrahi's release will die down now that the only man convicted of bombing Pan Am Flight 103 is back in Libya, he will be disappointed.

According to reports in the Arabic press, Megrahi will be at the centre of next month's celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the military coup that swept Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to power.

The event, to be attended by politicians, leaders and royalty, will be held in the full glare of the world's media. And, unfortunately for Brown and the many people left incensed by the decision to release terminally ill Megrahi on compassionate grounds, the former Libyan intelligence officer will be prominent.

A party?

Al-Megrahi should have been kicked off the plane at 30000 feet over the Mediterranean.

This is so god**** sick. The UK has done the unthinkable. Releasing Al-Megrahi to return home to Libya and Gaddafi is celebrating. How 'joyful' will that be.

Although I am shocked by the actions of the Scottish and UK governments, but not that surprised, I do find it somewhat funny that Gaddafi is milking this for all its worth and rubbing into everyone’s face.

This is what happens when you are lenient with criminals.

Our only solace is that this piece of crap (Al-Megrahi) will spend eternity in allah’s hell, and do so shortly.

I didn't know that Quisling was a British citizen. Well, you learn something new every day.

Yes, that’s right.

He would meet his Creater and explain to Him why he smuggled the tape recorder bomb aboard Pan Am Flight 103 and let it detonate.

In the past Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi has been very friendly toward Obama. He's said that he's worried about Obama's safety, that Obama has no reason to act so white and that Obama should be proud of his African and Muslim identity. When they met they greeted each other warmly.

Why is Qadhafi doing this to his bud?

Does Obama simply not care about all the hullabaloo and Qadhafi knows it -- or is it something along the lines of blackmail? Qadhafi has ways of getting documents that real reporters (those that believe in the Constitution) cannot, I'm sure.

It has been said that Obama gave the UK the go-ahead to release him.

Maybe it was intended as a b!tch-slap to ostammer for all the insults he’s heaped on the UK.

Gaddafi is supposed to be coming here for a state visit in a month or so. Let’s see if ostammer uninvites him.

The smart money is on no, ostammer won’t uninvite Gaddafi.

Maybe Gaddafi has ostammer’s birth certificate. Libya isn’t all that far from Kenya. ;)
