The Strange Case of the Obama Meltdown

The Obama Meltdown—Symptoms/Diagnosis/Prognosis

Strange things are happening to the Obama administration and quickly so. His polls are diving and may not stop at 50/50, the most precipitous drop in approval of a first-year President since Bill Clinton in 1993 (cf. Hillary care).

First, here are some of the problems the President faces:

Symptoms and Diagnosis

1) Health Care. Health-care take overs and socialized medicine have terrified not just the right and conservatives, but the elderly of all persuasions who fear their shaky Medicare funds will be diverted to Obama’s new plans. In short, they believe their care will be rationed and given to all sorts of new recipients. And they fear age will be a basis for meriting treatment; as if the gang banger with a long felony record of mayhem at 22 would be more deserving before a federal health panel than would someone at 90 who scrimped and saved for insurance in case of some future need for a hip replacement (and was still active and productive; cf. great octogenarians from Sophocles to Barzun who did their best work in their late lives).

It was an insane political move to demonize these town-hallers, when streaming video showed the participants scared and angry, but not violent, trying to get answers from smug politicos who either cell phoned away, ridiculed questioners in the manner of Barney Frank, or mocked their interrogators. These were for the most part not Code Pink/Cindy Sheehan type protestors. (And by the way, what happened to Code Pink, given we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan?)

I honestly believe some of our politicians like Pelosi and Frank think they will never be voted out of office. Or, in the worst case, the elections are fixed and they will never be out of office. What other reason for their arrogance?

The state run media might just do us a favor. The more ozero speaks, the more they cover him. (and cover for him). His assualt on the medical industry is showing more and more Americans what the dimrat party has become. With abortion and euthanasia as centerpieces, the party has become the deathhead party. Keep on promoting this goofball, media.

What is so strange. Eventually a hot air balloon falls to earth.

He has been spewing so much hot air for so long it finally caught up with him.

Americans are no longer besotted with the fraud.

Obomba is about as smart as a sack of oranges.

How could we miss the fantastically stupid gaffes this goof has made? When he talks extemperaneously he walks all over his tongue. He and his wife are a walking, talking comedy and it would be funny if this nation wasn't getting ruined while they're on a perpetual vacation.

I hope he tanks quickly as the nation wakes up from the nightmare he and all the damned leftist politicians and staffers create.

There is no meltdown of the Obama administration — it’s only wishfull thinking on part of the conservatives.

An absolutely total meltdown, with Obama and his administration all tied up in straightjackets babbling nonsense and frothing at the mouths, would only mean that my prayers were answered in accordance with my wishes.

Statement: "The Strange Case of the Obama Meltdown"

Response: His "meltdown" is not so strange as this individual currently holding office as President is a bit of flotsam and jetsam cast up by some political storm generated by the previous administration and the media. He is an historical accident nothing more. Personally he is not intelligent but is merely glib(by definition) and cunning. The meltdown process is occasioned by the American people starting to recognize his incompetence.

Excellent analysis.

Hope Obama never reads this!

When the author says “Obama proposes not just to grow government and absorb much more of the nation’s GDP into the state, but to create a lasting legacy of statism”, I think he is understating things. You could say that Obama is now OBSESSED by this goal -he’s more motivated by ideology than common sense, practical politics, or even what’s good for the DNC. And it’s going take a toll, come 2010 elections.

A STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE

Remember? The point of Obama bringing Rahm in as chief of staff was so that
"tolerant and compassionate bi-partisan Rahm" could work constructively with
Congress to pass an ambitious agenda.......

" You don't like Obamacare? Tough."

I just wanted to add that I really like seeing the words “Obama” and “meltdown” in the same sentence!

I talked to an Obama voter yesterday who said she despises him now. She said he’s arrogant and not what she voted for. Bloom is off the rose big time and the traitors in the US Congress are going down with him. Pelosi, Reid, Frank, and the rest of the arrogant Elitists have provided the American people with an enemy to despise.

VDH gives advice to Dems and rebuke to GOP. It is not a bold essay, it is a middling maffle.

The democratic party has been the death party for many years — certainly all of the clinton years; remember Janet Reno and the Branch Davidians? I guess it just takes some people years and years and years to have it finally sink in, but here it is in plain English: THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS THE DEATH PARTY.
