You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil.The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan. The U.S. Export-Import Bank tells us it has issued a "preliminary commitment" letter to Petrobras in the amount of $2 billion and has discussed with Brazil the possibility of increasing that amount. Ex-Im Bank says it has not decided whether the money will come in the form of a direct loan or loan guarantees. Either way, this corporate foreign aid may strike some readers as odd, given that the U.S. Treasury seems desperate for cash and Petrobras is one of the largest corporations in the Americas.
But look on the bright side. If President Obama has embraced offshore drilling in Brazil, why not in the old U.S.A.? The land of the sorta free and the home of the heavily indebted has enormous offshore oil deposits, and last year ahead of the November elections, with gasoline at $4 a gallon, Congress let a ban on offshore drilling expire.

In 2008 Michelle Malkin penned a column in which she described the payoffs in store for George Soros and friends if Obama were elected. Funny how quickly Obama has been able to keep that promise.
George Soros stands to make hundreds of millions in profit from a loan by the U.S. to Petrobas for offshore drilling. Why is no one surprised? Perhaps as a thank you gesture, George Soros has been pouring millions of dollars of his ill-gotten gains into the Obama Hell Care racket.

I heard snippits about this from the TV in another room tonight - tuned into Fox about 6-7.
I really don’t think the “powers that be” are prepared for this stuff to be revealed as quickly as it seems to be. Which just highlights that they truly are STUPID as they can’t possibly squelch all the opposition to their plans. Their plans keep getting discovered/reported and perhaps one day soon, they will understand they can’t get away with this junk anymore..They need to be kept on the defensive every hour, every day! So many favors to repay and so little time.
I don’t think we’re going to have to worry about this guy being in our lives longer than 4 years - never mind a second term obuma. He can’t do this much damage this fast without the people waking up.
I think the Clintons must be saying to themselves - “And they thought we were crooked!!”
All this will eventually come home to roost, I expect dozens of people near obama to go to jail before he is out of office.
Maybe it is hidden in the Stimulus. After all they passed it without reading it because there was such a great emergency.
By Christmas we won’t have visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads, but rather guillotines. Obama et all are the worst, most corrupt, politicos ever to hold power in the U.S. What a sham, what a shame,
